B is for Bitchy

The lovely onechicklette (@1chicklette) interviewed me for one of her Twitter Spotlight posts this week.

I breezed through the questions, except when it came to the chief characteristic of myself, in one word.

I like to think I’m too complex and multi-faceted to be summarized in one word.

I asked my Facebook friends for help:
can you characterize me in ONE word? ONE.
is it bitchy?
it’s bitchy, isn’t it?

True seconded my opinion, and my mother was bitchy enough to commend me on knowing myself, and everyone else was nice, even flattering, for some fucking reason.

You can read the interview here, and you can read about me being bitchy in nearly every blog I’ve written. Although, you could be one of those people who stumbled upon me blogging about squirrels, sewing, and gardening, mistakenly assuming that bitches don’t enjoy some nice lady shit now and again.

…minus the blog post entitled ‘Sew Bitchy’? haha. I love you just the way you are, my dear. 🙂

I’m one of those stumblers you mentioned at the end, but I’m so glad I did, because even when you think you’re being bitchy, you still make me smile. So, thanks for that! 😀

Can’t do much but LOL at this one. “Bitch” has been the description tossed at me since I was about 20 and I realized what being bitchy could do for me. I wear that badge with pride. 😉

Whether you’re bitchy or writing about sewing – you’re still you! 🙂 And I so laughed at that meme – that is my oldest daughter to a ‘T’.

I once described myself as one great big ball of self-confliction. It’s really odd when so many opposing facts are true. I think you’ve struck a wonderful balance between ‘darling’ and ‘bitchy’.

Bitch is just shorthand for “has a fuckin’ good mind and ain’t afraid to use it.” If I were to choose a word for me? curious I think would be it…:)

Hahahahaha. When I’m bitchy it comes out wrong and sounds passive aggressive.

When my daughter was much younger she’d mistakenly left her diary opened on the coffee table and I took a peek. “The bich is home” her entry began. After school when she was sitting at that table watching TV I walked over to her and whispered in her ear, “you spell bitch b-i-t-c-h not b-i-c-h. You left out the T” and walked back into the kitchen…. 😀

If you weren’t so bitchy we wouldn’t get along so well. Keep being you.
