Love-Hate Challenge

Judy from Edwina’s Episodes nominated me to take part in the Love-Hate Challenge, 10 things I love, 10 things I hate, 10 nominees — seems simple enough. I can easily do this with random things from the last few days. I’m not really into hate, and love seems a bit extreme at times, but nonetheless…

Things I Love:

1. the way my cat pushes her face into my neck
2. cool, breezy days
3. the taste of my husband’s lips
4. the light in my living room
5. bookstores
6. sleeping late
7. Flonase
8. fountain Coke
9. the burn of a spicy sauce
10. my kids reading books I love

Things I Hate:

1. dangerous drivers
2. receipts
3. phone calls that wake me up
4. the prices at concessions stands
5. bras
6. shoes
7. junk mail
8. when my dog eats gross things
9. new freckles and moles
10. cleaning a tiled shower

Nominees:

1. Holly
2. Mark
3. Megan
4. Christina
5. Josh
6. Anxious Mom
7. Manee
8. Prajakta
9. Cheryl
10. Sammy

It was very simple, in fact!

  5. Loved your lists! I really dislike it when my dogs eat gross things, too. Maud, my bluetick hound, eats EVERYTHING!

Love and Hate. I guess they are are opposites. In my mellow middle age I think in terms of irritating and soothing. That being said fountain Coke rocks and lousy drivers can be so irritating. Oh and libraries and book stores are pretty cool too.

I like taking my bra and shoes off after work. My Mom whispered to me when she was 55 years old, that she had thrown away all her bras and (hope this doesn’t upset you, it made me laugh out loud) she told me she let my Dad ‘feel her up anytime he wants now that we are retired.’

    • AWESOME! Haha! I don’t know that I can get away with that, but maybe when I’m 55, I won’t care…I do enjoy sneaking off in winter, under all the layers…hehe!

  17. Bookstores and the cat one are both great. That said I love it when my cat does that until I’m trying to work and he’s still headbutting me and getting in the way 😉

I have a love-hate relationship with bras. I love the support, I hate vicious, biting underwires. I love having a sexy cleavage–it’s fun to watch guys give themselves whiplash trying to catch a peek. I hate trying to put a bra on after a shower. It’s like trying to wrestle the suction cups of a particularly amorous octopus.
