What is the most fun thing you did in school?
Heh. Well let’s stick to elementary school, keep it rated G, hm? I loved playing Four Square at recess. Like, I lived for it.

What is your favorite type of dog?  (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)
I love my dog. I have loved and still do love many dogs. I’m partial to fluffy dogs with floppy ears…but…Kipper. Kipper the dog. The dog with a slipper…
Most precious children’s programming ever.

You are invited to a party that will be attended by many fascinating people you never met.  Would you attend this party if you were to go by yourself?
Probably not. Maybe if my hair looks good and there’s an open bar.

Complete this sentence:  Never In My Life Have I… gotten a tattoo.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I’m grateful for my health this week, and for mojitos, and for air-conditioning. My husband is a swell guy and he took me back to the Turkish place, so I’m grateful for him and for dolmades — Yes Again! Also, this time, we took three of our kids. We had the best time. Plus, we had tiramisu and Turkish coffee. This was not some individual-fancy-pants tiramisu with pretty structure and no oomph, either — This was someone-made-it-right-in-a-big-ol-pan tiramisu!

Are you anti-tattoo, or just not for you?

Oh no, I’m not anti-tattoo, although there are plenty of bad ones to grimace at. I used to want one, when I was young. I had plans to get The Archer on my hip bone, but then I had three abdominal surgeries, and uh, I’m kinda glad I didn’t. I just can’t think of anything I want affixed to my body permanently. At this time. I kinda like the white tattoos, but still…of what? Ya know?

I always enjoy your answers. I would also require to open bar (no hope for my hair). I guess after 33 years of Irish Setters, I have to claim them as a fav.

I enjoyed reading your interesting answers! For me I have 3 tattoos, but have never eaten a dolmade, or tiramisu. What is foursquare? Is it like hopscotch?

Ahh, thanks for the information on foursquare! 🙂 Sounds like you had a great time back then.

A tattoo is something I have never wanted. I got my ear pierced in ’69 and worn 2 gold rings up until about 10 years ago. That is about as “hip” as I want to get. As far as being invited to a party with an open bar I am in;with or without hair. I hope you have an enjoyable visit with your parents.

  11. I’ve never played Four Square.
I do have tattoos. Some I’ve had for so many years that I totally forget that they’re there.
