LOL! One of my favorite movies, prior to the explosion of violence in the Middle East, was ISHTAR. Bits of it are still the funniest scenes ever. BUT ANYWAY, my youngest also adores it, but her gentlemen friends do not. When the main characters are struggling across the desert, her friend suddenly shouted out, “You’re not dying fast enough! DIE FASTER!” He’s an ex.

That sounds like the plot of every Nicholas Sparks movie/book ever.

Was it the good guy or the bad guy that didn’t die quickly? I think it’s called overacting or perhaps they needed to fill in five minutes, so they told the actor to string it out.
