    Is that a play kitchen set in the corner with a stainless steel refrigerator with ice dispenser?? Goodness. I have play kitchen envy. My kids had a play kitchen made out of wine boxes, toilet rolls and milk bottle lids…..

    My little yayhoo had manufactured kitchen appliances, but they were heavy cardboard, or maybe plywood. She called them “stove and oven” although they were also a sink and a refrigerator. She and her inflatable T-Rex had good times there.

      Lovely. Invisible T-Rexes must be charming companions. I had metal, Holly Hobby, I think. To be honest, I only remember a fridge and stove and ironing board. I don’t think it was consolidated…

        Sara’s weren’t consolidated, either. I think she inherited them from her big sisters, who I married (you don’t just marry a man, you marry his kids, if any, as well, amiright?) when the youngest was eight. Her T-Rex was inflatable, not invisible, and about as tall as she was. She named him John Allen and claimed him as her brother. When he eventually popped a seam, she thumb-tacked him to the playhouse wall and the fun continued unabated.

    She looks right at home and having the time of her life. I wonder if people expect children to be born adults? They have to grow and be their age.
