One-Liner Wednesday — LOL, Aww!

moo_paint

When Moo was six, she and her friends went around the neighborhood selling their watercolor paintings, because, I quote, “Small people are cute and grown-ups say ‘Aww!’ to us.”

Too funny. Water coloring indoors beats selling lemonade out doors. Kid knows her clientele.

When my brothers and I were little, we filled our wagon with rocks and went door to door. We sent the littlest to the door to sell the rocks. Same results, “AW, how cute! Of course, we want one.” That same baby brother was allergic to sugar so he didn’t go Trick or Treating. My middle brother and I went to the doors saying our baby brother was sick so couldn’t Trick or Treat. They gave us twice as much. Cute can get you everything. When that doesn’t work, as my daughter informed me one day, Whining works wonders!
