What is your favorite comfort snack food?
I think cookies. I’d say I more often choose fruit or cheese because nutrition, but cookies must surely be my favorite.
Is the paper money in your possession right now organized sequentially according to denomination and with the bills right side up and facing the same way?
Today I have no paper money in my possession.
If you were a mouse in your house in the evening, what would you see your family doing?
I don’t know how much a mouse would like our house, what with three cats around…
Sometimes we go out. Sometimes we take the dog.
Sometimes people come over.
We do different things, depending on the night. Sometimes we watch shows or movies. Sometimes we read. Sometimes some of us read and some of us are on laptops or phones. Sometimes we are all on computers.
We like to share — talk about the shows or movies, books, blogs, photos, memes. There’s frequent lively conversation.
Sometimes everyone in the room is doing something different and although it’s rare, sometimes we’re all in different rooms. (We play the occasional Marco Polo while we hunt for one another, too.)
Sometimes we eat in the living room, sometimes we eat in the dining room, sometimes the children eat in their bedrooms.
Generally, I’d say we mostly do different things until dinner and snuggles are after.
Would you rather not be able to read or not be able to speak?
I’d rather not be able to speak.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
We had a fantastic anniversary weekend — thanks so much for the well wishes. As usual, I can only show you photos of the yummy foods I enjoyed on our dates.
I’m grateful my in-laws kept the children.
I’m grateful that the weather cooled down last week. I’m not sure how long it’s staying, but I’m always looking forward to cooler weather. We slept with the windows open last night. Ahh!
My obsession with my sunflowers grows and I think next year I will plant a hundred in varying sizes while hoping some of these self-seed. The bees, actual honeybees even, really like them right now. They Are Delightful.
Last night, I found myself telling The Mister how nice it is that we’re not scheduled for anything at all this week. The kids are, but we’re not. Oh so nice.
Cee’s Share Your World is a weekly feature and all are welcome to play along.
What’s going on in your world?
It was your anniversary, I forgot..I sorry. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Hope you enjoyed it. 🙂

LOVE the sunflowers. I am growing them for the first time this year and they’re just blooming now. There will definitely be more in my future!!!

Right? They’re magical! This is my first year too, and I’ve fallen in love 🙂

There was a lady at the flea market last week selling sunflowers in clear glass vases…beautiful. Seems like a successful venture. ☺

Honestly, I’d never really been a fan of sunflowers before now. I grew them for pretty privacy, and they’re just so dreamy, I’ve fallen for them 🙂 They’re undeniably happy. I’d imagine a vase of them would bring that happiness inside.

Cookies, great family, beautiful sunflowers, and a nice evening out – life is good, Joey. 🙂 I do have to tell you we met friends for lunch last week, and he was telling us how he got bit by a yellow jacket. Both my husband and I almost spit the food out of our mouths while looking at each other and laughing because all we could think about was your post on yellow jackets. 🙂

Haha, well I’m glad you laughed at my expense and not his 😉 Poor guy!

Heck yeah with the cookies. They don’t last long around here, though.

Great sunflower shots! I hate way too many cookies last night. I think I will gain about five pounds. They were oatmeal raisin though, and I can’t resist those.

Thank you! Oh I do so love a nice warm oatmeal raisin cookie, or a plate of them, depending 🙂

I don’t know. I’d never tried before. Maybe I got lucky.
I usta couldn’t cook sticky rice. Things change. Try again. 🙂

Love sunflowers and cookies!! And the food looks yummy. I thought I would start a diet today for my son’s wedding next spring. Then I come over here and hahaha. Warm cookies are the best. And no raisins.

Those are delicious, healthy meals 🙂 I like raisins, but for you, I’ll hold the raisins!

Sunflowers and daisies are my favorite flowers. Great pics of the sunflowers. Cookies are my #2 comfort food. Cookie dough is #1. Sometimes I ask why waste a good cookie by cooking it.

Haha! I’ve never been into cookie dough, but I support your affection for it 🙂 Thanks, Bradley!

Those are some serious sunflower pictures;and that crab and shrimp creation looks delicious. For me;although I have been known to snack on olives and pickles; I think I default to cookies too. Specifically Pinwheels or Mallomars. My folding money is always faced. That’s just how I roll. Oh I definitely would want to retain the ability to read. Glad to hear you guys had a nice anniversary. According to the Weather Channel it is supposed to stay cool all next week.

I do so hope the weather stays like this. It’s so much better!
I know, I almost said olives and I almost said pickles! Really though, it’s cookies. Cookies and I get on very well 😉 I like crunchy cookies like Fudge Stripe and Shortbread most, but I like all cookies! 😀

Newtons! I almost forgot Newtons. Fig or apple either one. Shortbread is good too.

FIG NEWTONS ARE THE CAT’S MEOW. I try not to buy them, cause I will so totally binge! Can you imagine TWO is a serving size?!?
LikeLiked by 1 person
What!?!! That’s crazy TWO. Why that is just enough to get your mouth working. I don’t buy them too often either. A pack lasts about as long as a raindrop in Texas.

I love those giant golden heads … especially the 2nd photo! What was the perspective from which you took that photo? … are you standing up and they really are that gigantic? Or lying on the ground? Somewhere in-between?
LikeLiked by 1 person
They’re giants, so yeah, I’m standing up. Some of them are falling down with the weight of their giant heads, so I was able to stand over them. More of them are well over my head and over The Mister’s head, too. Two of the photos are taken with me standing on the arms of our adirondack chairs. The one with two bees, that flower is bigger than my head. 😀
