#ThursdayDoors — Nashville, Indiana

When I wasn’t too busy smiling and laughing, or stuffing my face, I did find some interesting doors in Nashville.

I haven’t been to Nashville IN in decades, but it looks like it hasn’t changed a bit! Great doors, good photos.

  2. I love so much about this post, apart from stuffing the face! Especially the first door, the third inscription and the last establishment. 🙂 “Open hearts, open minds, open doors.” could be our Thursday Doors motto. Yeah!

Great selection of doors and perfect captions! I love the first door. I think I’d like to have a sandwich there. I’m also a sucker for black metal stairs and corny jokes, so…

    And fudge, mmmmm fudge

  5. I didn’t know there was a Nashville in Indiana. But this town has certainly amazing doors. Like you, I love texture and contrast. And my favorites are the sandwich shop and the art shop. The red door of course will always be a favorite. These Nashville doors are gorgeous.

    Wonderful collection this week Joey.
Well now I know where to go if ever I’m in the mood for a sandwich while in Nashville.
I love that yellow art gallery door too 🙂

Drat I never seem to take the time to make my own doorventory. Until then I must get my thrills vicariously through yours. Can the aforementioned thrills be called doorgasms? Or is that too much.

HAHA! I dunno. I tend not to judge the gasms of others. If these do it for ya, you really should click the link. There are doors from Prague and Biltmore and well, you could gasm all day 😉

What April said … even if it is a small piece. Just enough for a mid-afternoon snack 😉

… but I do like the photo with the black staircase. I really like stairs that cascade in two directions. Seeing one from a 2nd floor exit is really interesting!

I want to go eat at that sandwich shop! I love that door. Did you go inside? I’m wondering if it had the same rustic feel.

  13. I like the “hole in the wall” vibe to That Sandwich Place. I’ve found some of the best food in places like that (as long as it looks clean when I walk in!). 🙂 That reflection looks like it was a lovely day! Great selection of doors.

I love the two ‘entrance’ signs on that first door. Look right. Look left. Yes, definitely an entrance. I would like to eat there.

  17. It’s the other Nashville! I guessed wrong on the third one. I thought it was going to be “oooo, arches”, but no. I’m glad you smiled, laughed, and stuffed your face as well as bringing us all these great door shots, but I think I gained five pounds just looking at all the fudge!! Sugar high.

I just LOVE Nashville! So many familiar doors here! I love the variety of your choices; each one is appealing and intriguing, each in a different way. So speaks a doorista, I guess. ha!

  21. ooh, the variety!! 🙂 Great selection of doors! The reflection in the big window w/tramsom was lovely!

I’d love to go to Nashville just once. I’ve been a country music fangal since I was 8 yrs old. A bloody long time ago when country was twangy. 🙂 I wanted to see the Grand Ole Opry being filmed in their heyday. Missed that! Maybe one day I’ll get see a show and the city with a new favorite playing.

  22. You get a Blue ribbon for First Place this week. Love these doors – the sign, the crest, the ZZ. I just love them all. Thanks for the smile as I enjoyed each one. 🙂

Screw the doors how much did you spend on fudge :), actually I’m guessing not much if any because I know you are a kitchen commando and could make 20 lbs in your sleep before the mister wakes up :).
