SoCS — Snow White Sky

Yes, yesterday it was seventy-freakin-five degrees and today it’s thirty-seven because I live in Indiana and that’s how we do. You may also live in a place like that, I dunno. If you live in a Celsius place then that’s 25 yesterday, 2 today.

When we woke up, the tops of the trees, no longer so leafy, were asway in the wind and the sky was white. Some people would say it was gray, but people like me know, that sky was white, the color it looks when it snows. I said to The Mister, “Sky’s snow white.” The Mister does not question my sky words.

There are snow flurries now and again.

First truly cold day of the season. *claps hands* Oh Yes!

Deep celcius weather headed our way tomorrow. Right now, I still have parsley growing in a pot on my front deck and a wee pot of pretty lobelias still being all summery.

Oh that’s nice! My parsley is yellow, most of it has been for some time. Sage lookin all good though 😛
My geraniums are now blood-red and I think if I touch them they will shatter, but I’m not gonna touch em!

Glad you’re happy about the snowflakes and cold weather. We just had our first freeze this morning with frost on the ground and the cat’s water bowl was a bit frozen.

Great job with the prompt. Bonus points for you! We’re over here watching all your crazy weather and hoping it settles down before getting here. I collected big bunches of leaves yesterday and today. I hope I don’t have to shovel a space for them at the curb.

My wife will often say “the sky looks like snow”. In never sure what that means but I don’t question either.

We got snow last night. Was quite the storm, thundersnow, and high winds. Left all of half an inch on the ground. Lol

Do Joey winters come with snow or just sub zero temps? I am not a big fan of either. In our hood we got rain. I don’t think I saw any snow. But that stands to reason. You do live “up North”.

I do live just a bit northeast of center 🙂
I love snow, I don’t really love anything below 20. Below 20 my hands get all ow. But I like below 20 better than over 80.

We had a “snow white sky” on Saturday morning, too! The slushy windshield was funny but after a movie and dinner with a friend we nearly froze walking against the blustery seven o’clock, pitch black night’s wind!! Yikes!
    Happy November cold days! 😉

I went through the same 24 hour weather cycle here. I want to be a flexible person who goes with the flow, but this kind of extreme makes me cranky. Plus, I want to organize my closet for winter, but how can I? Will I need to wear shorts again tomorrow? It infuriates me.

I understand. When it is 50, I think it’s perfectly reasonable to wear a sweater and a skirt. But at work, it must be 75 — should I buy more summer blouses?!? Annoying.

We set a record that day of 82, by the time the sun come up it was 32 degrees. I love Indiana, I hate Indiana weather. At least this cold finally put out the 20 alarm fire going on with allergies. would the Mister ever not trust your judgement? Or is he not allowed to say 🙂 🙂 🙂
