It’s pretty cold here right now, not just in Indy, but in my living room. Yes, the HVAC guy is comin back out today.
Anyway, I’m less on foot these days, so let’s start with a few drive-by doors.
I can’t always get out, but sometimes I can stop.
I love this house. It’s my kinda house, and I think all the black and white accents really show off the details. I am a sucker for fat trim and arched doors.
And there’s this little shed that caught my eye. It must catch a lot of eyes, because it’s posted a sign about Private Drive. I respected its privacy and we shall gaze upon it from afar.
Cute shed…Which reminded me I never uploaded this other shed from the summer.
To be honest, I like this shed, but it’s the colors and those dying coneflowers in the foreground that I love. They remind me of another embroidered picture a la Papa. And now you probably wanna see that, so I’ll go snap a pic.

Id LOVE one. Almost bought a ice shanty last year I was gonna convert to a small shack like place just to unplug & get away for a while. Trailer it was on was junk, so I passed on it. Meh. Eventually when I win the lottery..you know. 😛

Cute shed of Fancy Outhouse. Only the inside can say for sure. The top one is adorable but I think I like the rustic quality of the second one more.

That shed looks a bit like a kids’ playhouse. Hubby built such an adorable one years ago…I should write about it some time. Stay warm ! 💝

Oh I do hope you write about the playhouse! My kids had the big plastic kind, which they loved, but I do so enjoy a more realistic but twee version 😉

Lovely colour scheme on the house- you’d never have thought black with white trim on the background colour (I’m seeing it as grey/blue) would look so good and the shed is adorable…

Wow – these are all winners! I love the two sheds, but the one that looks more like a little house is my favorite. A girl down the street from me when I was 6 or 7 or so, had a little house that her father had built into the front of a large shed. This reminded me of how we used to play there.
I am also a sucker for arched doors and black and white trim.

I really like sheds because I think of all the potting I could do inside. These are two beauties. Love the first one with the flag and all the windows. 🙂

Each one has its own unique charm. I like the white trim on the first one, the red door on the second, and the sturdy build of the third. Nice collection this week – and good luck with the ongoing heat problems.
I’ve got the wood stove nicely stoked so it’s toasty warm in here today 🙂

Oh don’t you brag to me about your functional heating components, mister! lol We’re fixed again, but oh was it a cold day — 15F/-9C. My space heater worked so hard to keep the living room at a mere 64!

My grandpa made me a play store out of a cardboard refrigerator carton. He cut a big flap for a door, and a little square for a window. Seems to me, he cut the window at the top and down the sides, then, instead of cutting the lower edge off, he folded it and stapled it to make a li’l counter. But ANYWAY, I love those sheds! And the embroidery is AWESOMESAUCE!

It’s funny and I don’t know why, but I love these door pic days. That shed is amazing. It looks nice enough to move in. Tiny houses are all the rage these days.

I thought too that the second one looked like a playhouse or a tiny/Tiny house. I don’t want to live in a tiny house. I wouldn’t even have enough room for my books! That first house is really attractive.

I like the arches and fat trim too – that house is awesome in so many ways….
And the shed doors were nice and diverse – and the ending butterfly (reminded me of if you give a mouse a cookie….)
But it was nice because winter’s white and grey has been here this month and so the nice colors (in coneflowers too) are a bit cheery –

Arched doors will always capture my attention too, but the black-and-white trim is something I can’t say I’ve ever noticed before on a house. I like it. It looks fantastic with the dark blue on this lovely little house.

The arch door and little white picket fence sucked me right in! Great house and worth getting out in the cold to make an image of it.
The little shed with the red door….I want it to be my retreat! It looks like a little studio to me.
Your embroidery is gorgeous! I spent quite a few years doing counted cross stitch and a little embroidery. That butterfly and flowers is exquisite!

Nice post, Joey. The tiny shed has a mailbox so it almost appears that someone is living in it. You might have to reconsider living in a tiny house if you have heating problems (one space heater would take care of a tiny house w/o any problems).

So cute shed 🙂 The furnace has been running for five whole days now, it’s very exciting! 😛 I like my smallish house, but I really couldn’t cope with a tiny house.
