I like the first photo – it reminds me of going anywhere with my hubbie. He just doesn’t ‘get’ the whole door thing and I’m always playing catch-up after I stop to grab a photo 🙂

I do like sliding doors, and I like photo flaws. Actually, I consider them to be naturally occuring special effects 🙂

Those light green doors certainly are unusual – someone is brave in their color choices!

I love the first photo with your reflections and the windows reflected in too. Loved your description. Missionary garb! ROFL!!! I think I would love your straw hat! I had to toss one out last summer. I am on the hunt for a new hat.

Thanks! It’s maybe not the cutest thing, but it’s effective 😀

I just love the shadows in these pictures, especially the one that looks like a diamond is shining on it.

My favourite is the first photo, with the multiple windows in the door. I love that the reflection is so clear!

That shade of green on that garage door sure is something else. Not so sure how happy that’d make me when I drove up the driveway, but it does photograph well. Now I’m wondering how many times I see sliding doors and don’t even realize it.

The only one in my family so far to suffer from my door-photo-taking issues is our younger daughter, as she lives in Philly, where every door seems to be photogenic. She’s good with it, but it does take us ages to get anywhere and I still don’t get all the shots I’d like. 🙂 Now that I’ve reached your Thursday Doors entry, I have to stop for a bit. I work on Thursdays, so I always feel that I’m far behind, yet it’s only Friday. But of course, now I’m trying to keep up with the Photo Challenge entries, so I may never get anything else done at all. (So glad you said missionary garb, not position!!) 🙂
Happy Friday!

The orange one and the grey one right above it are my faves.
Lens flare can be annoying at times, but it can also give off some pretty funky effects if you’re willing to embrace it and go with what the conditions are giving you.

Lens flare. You even have words for pretty accidents 🙂

Cool doors.
And “Sliders” was a cool show, too, d’you remember that? I’ve recently rewatched it with Audrey and we both really enjoyed it.

It’s nice when even the bad things work out for the best. I’m glad you found silver linings and I hope you have a terrific week this week.
I’ve been meaning to ask you, but it’s just so delicate…please forgive me if I’m in error. Are you the same Prior I talked to about Lysine last spring? Very homeopathic-minded?

I might have been – and it sounds like me – cos I love L-lysine (has to be the L kind) and it is stuff I love to talk about.
and actually forgive me cos I first got to know you with my other blog – but got locked out of it – long story – and it was time to wrap it up anyway….
and so anyhow= the other thing is I always have an umbrella of grace for times any of us have a short memory with some things in blog land – sometimes the sharing we do is just here and there – good – but not always something we keep perfect track of. that is why I loved your comment on that blog earlier – about not forgetting to post and not stressing to visit all….
such sound advice

Oh good! It IS you! I had thought. I mean, there’s a kinda voice with people, and you were gone awhile, to me anyway, and I have wanted to ask for a long time, but it really is awkward…
Okay, well I need to find your ‘new’ blog then.
PS: The Lysine was/is fabulous and I can’t thank you enough!

well so glad – and I hope it was me… hah
and I am getting ready to post some of my top “must haves” – and reading your comment has reminded me I need to do it.
because not to sound all humble – but the truth is everything I have learned has been from others – from books and classes – but a good majority from ONLINE people who make the time to share.
long story short – I was sick in 2014.
I have always been health minded – and stayed away from chemicals – but I did not want to be a nutritionist or anything like that.
I also thought vitamins were a scam – but then when my body started changing hormones – I found that a cal-mag blend in a green base with vit D – rescued me. so I was starting to believe in supplements and stuff.
but it was when I was sick in 2014 – had a few things – but the main issue was I had a plant fungal infection – sounds yuck – huh? but many have candidiasis and don’t know it and then other things coinfect.
and docs are good for some things – like to remove bullets – oh wait – they often leave those – but they can be good for surgeries and whatnot – but they have no fucking clue when it comes to root causes 9sorry about the f bomb – but that power word is needed cos they are taught in med school to TREAT SYMPTOMS and it is horrid what is happening to sick people – they get sicker with allopathic care) – but I digress.
anyhow, one lady – who I can never thank – was on some forum and came back to share how she healed.
people laughed at her.
someone made fun of her answer.
she said omg – noone ever comes back as they are only here in ciris sand I just want to share what worked for me.
she left and because she was anonymous I can never thank her (and her protocol was my answer)
but I pay it forward every time I share. sometimes it is hard because people are not always open. some get defensive – or if they are pharma minded and laugh when I suggest magnesium chloride for cramps or potassium citrate…. but then they wonder why the drugs of muscle relaxers only give short term relief –
ok
sorry to ramble
I am so happy the L-lysine worked and we have a teen (freshman neighbor) who started using it this year and his life changed too – woo hoo –

Yep, it’s definitely you 🙂
Paying it forward is a way of life for some of us 🙂
I don’t know anything about plant fungus, except as it applies to my plants. Baking soda cures most of it…same for people?
I feel you on the treatment of symptoms. You know what else has become vital in my life? Apple cider vinegar. I don’t care what anyone says, that stuff is nature’s miracle! lol

well baking soda was part of my cure – but I actually needed to “rebuild” my inner terrain to get things firing. enzymes are crucial and so are amino acids aand all that.
a mistake I made earlier was only “cleansing” on and off over the years – which was fine – but I did not know about the extremely important second half – the REBUILD the TERRAIN part.
have a nice day and cheers to figuring out what our unique body needs – because that is the other challenge – we are similar with systems= yet different with what we need as we heal. hmmmm

Indeed! Inner terrain may well be everything 🙂
