Isn’t it? Basic, simple, factual 🙂

Um… but what IS it?? Y’know, for those of us who maybe call the thing in the picture something else?

Aaah! Ok, yup I’m a dork.
Albeit a dork who had to open a few extra windows last night, to sleep in the warmth of this February evening in Philadelphia…

This is why, between the upper story and the roof, we have an adduct. This is why, beneath the lower story, we have a base-ump. This is why, between the porch and the front room, we have a bestibugle. And this is why the space under the kitchen counter that was supposed to be for a kitchen stool but was where #4 Daughter sat and read while I cooked is still called the bi-berry. 🙂

Aw, yeah, that’s good stuff! 😀 Bi-berry especially!

the peace sign in the photo adds something – I am super grateful for the hot box I have for our chilly bonus room – it should have a bow on it….

I’ll be sure to let Sassy know her fingers were a photogenic addition 🙂
I know, I love my hot box, too. ❤

We had a space heater in our apartment in Chicago, and our first cat used to sleep under it.

I bet! My cats don’t like it, but the dog sure does 🙂

I thought a ‘hot box’ was where the enemy confined us in POW camp when we behaved contrary to their plans, or wanted us to sweat. Also, the sauna at the gym.

Or when you smoke a lot in an enclosed space. All valid, but this one’s Moo’s 🙂
Also, saunas are ick! 😛

Very catchy. If I had a hot box it would be grossly neglected. It’s so hot in my apartment I can’t stand it. Is Wednesday being kind to you?

Wednesday’s been good to me — Got some important documents at work, got a lil snow fall, havin brekkie for dinner — Thanks, Jill 🙂 How’s you? *fans you*

Ooh I love brekkie for dinner! Today is gonna be busier than I’d like, but that’s ok, I’ll probably just complain to my dog about it. She’s very understanding and sympathetic 😉

Oh good. After that, you should both have a cookie and a nap 😉

Hot boxes are great. They make you feel so cozy. They always remind me of the kerosene heater in Grandpa’s farm house. Of course without the smell.

That works. 🙂 We bought a great space heater from Costco once. We gifted it to our younger daughter when she needed it. When it’s cold like that, I really miss the word-burning stove we had in Cleveland!!

I highly recommend one. In all the time we had it, I managed to scrounge all the wood we needed to burn. 🙂

Hot boxes are the bane of my husband’s existence. I should run into the bedroom/office and crank it up right now. >:-)

LOL!
My living room is really, really cold without it. The choices are to heat the living room or sleep in an inferno, soooo, hot box it is!

Hot box… Okay! So… Well. I didn’t know what it was from the picture (we don’t need them in India). But well, if I had one – I would probably be lost in its warmth. True.
