Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?
Out, out, out!  I have to be able to wrap-up burrito-style or kick out a foot.

Have you stolen a street sign before?
No. In high school, I was in a van with other people who contemplated stealing a street sign. As it turns out, most people do not travel with the tools required to steal a street sign. Or so I was informed when they returned to the van without one.

Do you cut out coupons but then never use them?
I have. I don’t cut coupons anymore. I use an app and read the specials and whatnot, but I’m not into coupons, because I hardly buy any of the coupon products. The coupons seem always to be for products I don’t buy. I prefer the coupons the stores give, like $2 off a $10 purchase in dairy or $5 off entire purchase — I’ll use that stuff.

Do you have freckles?
I do.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
It was a long week for me. I don’t know why, but it seemed to go on forever. In the plus column, there were many snuggles, I had a good, long talk with my mother, date night was a joy, and I enjoyed having friends over. I am also grateful for Saturday’s unseasonably warm weather.
This week coming up bears a long weekend and I look forward to the extra time with my family.

When I was a freshman in college, the hockey players who lived next to us in the dorm set out on a mission to steal a license plate from every state in the union. Either plates are easier to steal than street signs or these dudes NEVER traveled without the necessary tools, because they ended up with close to 40 by the end of the year. Including a plate from Hawaii, which was most impressive (this college was in Connecticut) and probably most devastatingly annoying to the vehicle’s owner (who had somehow gotten his registered car all the way to New England from the middle of the Pacific Ocean).

Oh you people who don’t tuck-in your sheets worry me. So wrong, I tell you. Toes-y need to be cosy! Never stole a street sign, never even thought to do so. I do clip coupons and use about half of them, so that’s a win for me.

That IS a win for you!
I’ve never thought to steal a street sign either. I’ve been told you can order them now.
I just can’t get comfy all bound-up, Ally Bean.

I gave up clipping coupons but haven’t thought of using an app – sounds like a great idea.

Depends on what your stores do, but at least two here have good phone apps. I enter my phone number and my code and I get whatever I’ve earned and clipped.

  7. Loved reading these random facts for Cee’s challenge 🙂 What I like most, I think, is the randomness. From now on, I’ll think of you as the freckled girl who sleeps like a burrito 😉

I am a no tuck sorta’ guy. As for coupons I am all in on those “electronic” ones that Kroger E mails me. I just load them to my card and off I go. What a world.

  11. My kids always untuck their sheets when we stay at hotels. I don’t go through that effort when making a bed…Do people actually like to be in a cocoon?

  12. Tucked in the winter, untucked the rest of the year, which makes the bed-making more complicated.

I would have added two more ‘outs’ but yes, burrito style. The first thing I do in a hotel is untuck the bed. Lately, I’ve been opting to skip a day of housekeeping simply to avoid those uber-tucked sheets.

  15. A weekend with an extra day is always good. We’ll be road-tripping to Philly, so that will be a blast. My husband’s a foot-out-sheets-untucked person, but I have to have the bottom tucked in so that everything doesn’t move all over. Sides untucked, though are fine. 🙂

      • I love road trips!! Although I don’t mind flying, if possible, I really enjoy driving. My longest road trip by myself was 16 hours, but I’ve done the 12 1/2 – 13 hour trip to Philly on my own a number of times. This will be luxury, as my husband will be along AND we’re only going as far as Akron, Ohio the first night. Good stuff and the weather looks as though it will be nice, always a plus.

I do too. I’m not crazy about flying, tend to get a bit stuffy and hot. Love to ride and drive — wanna do some train trips 🙂
It does look like this weekend will be superb for road tripping!

The most my friends debated on was whether to steal an orange traffic cone when we were out one night, but they decided against it. We did take a grocery cart, once, though, and left it at a church. So mischievous.

We used to steal house signs and swap them round when we were kids.
After a while people got wise and started nailing them to trees and fences, (spoilsports) so we’d go out with screwdrivers and change the actual letters of the signs round instead.
My favourite was a house called North Pines; the owners once went a whole week before they noticed their house was called Thorn Penis.
