  1. I really like it and would want all the light as well. I need more house though.

I like the green stripe above the window and the green house numbers. Nice accents.

  3. I like it, but I’d say the colours were black and weird not-fully-greenish. The effect is modern but I wonder how hot in the summer.

Cute little house. If it was located elsewhere would make a nice little place to get away.

Hmmm, I like the houses and the doors, but I don’t see the houses as being blue 😦 Oh well, I don’t see a lot of things as being the color that they are, so…I hope you’re feeling better today.

I’m feeling better, but not well yet, thanks for asking 🙂
I know you have trouble with color, and Manja thinks they’re black, but they’re both a similar hue to navy blue. :/ I like them both, too.

I like the second house better than the first… if the windows are all good quality. Otherwise think of the wasted energy going out those windows! [Probably a more practical answer than this question was asking for.]

The first looks cozy. Needs a ramp though. 😛

I prefer the second blue and green house, especially how they painted the chimney green for additional accent. Very cute! The first house needs different colors. Don’t ask me what, but it feels too dark with the current paint job.

  9. Number one looks like an old ambulance barn with a paint job. Number two is cuter, and I like the colors, just not on a house.

Cute little house – I’m not sure about the green though. I guess it works.

love the trim and mood and attitude – and I felt it too – with the strong lines of the windows and structure of the house and the colors were well selected…..

The colors seem to fit; especially the woodsy charm of the first house. I like the bold choice for the chimney. I want a single story house. Stairs can get so old after a while.

  13. I would never have thought to put those two colours together, Joey, but they look really good. Nice find.

  15. It’s definitely an interesting color combo. I’m a little surprised that you found two houses with the same, unique combination.

  16. Not my favorite color scheme, but I’m loving all those windows. Heating bills though…yikes.

I like the green and blue. The first one reminds me of a Cold War era bunker.

Not sure how I feel about that color combo. I like red doors, white is ok. But if ya paint the chimney to match the door, ok.

  19. I would have never thought of those two colors together, but it is quite striking. 🙂 Nice ones. 🙂

A surprising color combination …. I am not sure if it would work for me though. The people must be a different level of interesting 🙂

If you had described to me a dark bluish-gray building with a muted lime green trim and doors, I would have cringed … but it does kind of work. Especially in the last photo. The chimney seals the deal 🙂

An unusual color combo for sure but not unattractive. I noticed they even painted the chimney on the second one.
Of course the first thing I noticed in all that was the two-car garage…because that just screams: room for a workshop! 😀

A strange color scheme, it’s kind of sludgy, but it looks better with the white contrast on the windows. I would find it hard to choose these colors for a house I lived in, I like light !

I love tiny houses, but I sure don’t like those colors. Not together, anyway. I could probably get used to them, and maybe they look better with spring/summer vegetation around them, but….

  26. Nice; the debate over colors reminds me of the blue or gold dress on the internet. Small houses need windows to give the illusion that they are bigger by including the outside space. Good post!

I liked your double houses post for Thursday’s Doors, Joey. My friend had a brown house with an orange door. The deep blue houses with the lime green trim both have unique and pleasant appearances. I enjoy seeing different color combinations, Joey.
