I spotted a lil somethin alluring.

In an alley, back, back, back.

This ivy-skirted vignette whispered my name.

You just know when you see somethin like that, there are gonna be doors of interest.

    I liked the screen door and barn looking door next to it, and #19. Yes, that ivy vignetted fence was enticing!

    I love it that you are now an advanced door-seeker. Like bird-watching, there’s a gestalt thing going on – you can’t put your name on it, but certain details in combination, like location, colour, habitat, give you the answer to the identity of the bird – or in your case, ivy, bricks, and alleys are enough for you to know that you are hot on the trail!

    Is it bad that I like the four brick-red windows with black bars the best? They are like homey institution windows. The arched brick is cool too.

    Great find for an alley!! I think my very first Thursday Door post was a door that I found in an alley. Makes me feel all sentimental. I’m a sucker for lovely brickwork and ivy too. 🙂

    I love your slick approach. Both my and my sister’s ex homes were on numbers 19 (different Ljubljana streets). My 19 was an ‘open house’ which meant all kinds of stuff went on in there. I conclude that no way any 19 girl could ever be a girl next door.
