Because I’m Blank

1a0f7-20172bbadge

Because there is no Share Your World today, I dunno what to blog. I so rarely have to think up things to blog on a Monday. How spoiled I am, hm?

I’m blank.

For A-Z through April, my B will have to be… blank?

Plan B?

There were some blossoms captured over the weekend. I’d driven by several times and would’ve sworn they were on a tree at the church. I even thought it was strange I’d never noticed it before. But I discovered, when I went to photograph it, the tree in question belongs to the house next door to the church.

I felt conflicted about trespassing, but ultimately, I did trespass a little, but not more than 20 feet into the drive, “Oh is this not a street?” where I STOLE its picture from my car. Oh the shame.

Being a nervous person, this blurry capture is my punishment. Part of me is glad to have such a conscience, but part of me wishes I could trespass with confidence, because I bet that house has great doors, too.

“…I bet that house has great doors, too.” – sorry, but I’m laughing about this. I know you’ll be back sometime to check that out. I don’t know why, but I’m reminded of the house you wanted to photograph but were trying to figure out where it was on the block behind it. Yeah, that’s not a real clear memory, but something tells me when something sticks in Joey’s head, it’s there for a while.

Thanks. 🙂 I’d hoped the door people would laugh!
Yes, I’d love to get this one, but it’s a grand house, with a long gravel drive, and something tells me I wouldn’t go unnoticed. I felt I was watched when I got the tree.
And yes, that yellow cottage is behind Twenty Tap, but Twenty Tap is also at FIFTY-FOURTH! Tsk.

Nothing blank about it! Those are bitchin’ beautiful blossoms! Glad you’re not in trespasser’s prison. Or do we use Looney BIN on ‘B’ day? 😉

  5. Ha! Joey, I am the same! I snapped some beautiful flowers in someone’s garden today and felt like a criminal as I had not asked them. I then saw some more lovely flowers and did ask if I could take a photo only to be looked at as though I had two heads! I felt a right plum taking the photos so hurried up and didn’t get the shots I wanted really, anwyay!!! Your photo of the tree is lovely BTW and does not look blurry! 🙂

The only thing that comes to mind is ‘it’s better to ask for forgiveness than for permission’ 😉

Blossoms? You have blossoms? I was excited to see the tiny greens of something today, poking about a 1/4″ out of the ground. I’m afraid blossoms here are at least a month away.

So, the “B” challenge is going to be titled “Blank” and you will write nothing? That would boggle everyone’s mind.

I would be tempted to trespass over to that gorgeous tree and sit under it’s umbrella.

I feel the same way about trespassing with a camera. There’s something so personal about photography that every time I use my camera I worry that I’ve stolen something intangible from someone. That being said, great letter “B” here! You go girl!

  12. Everything is starting to blossom here as well. There’s probably some places I’d love to trespass for photos, but so far I’ve found everything accessible. Yesterday’s IG blooms were in a McDonald’s parking lot. lol 🙂

I need to get out on a walk, but I’m just not feeling it. :/ They say snow will come later this week, and I’m runnin out of time to start feelin it!
McDonald’s, eh? — well, I say take it where you find it! (And get me a swate tay!)

This is sumptuous in its multitude of blossoms! You said Blank to mislead and help us to get extra surprised when we saw this beautiful tree. You are a tricky Joey. 🙂 xo
