Moo sat on our bed, talkin to her daddy on my phone. I couldn’t talk.
“Can’t talk. Doin the fings!”
I was trying to hang my scarves on the nail heads, how I do.

They kept sliding off.
“Stupid nails. Now the nail is in the scarf? Oh for fuck’s sake. I need longer nails!”
I tried again.
Nope. Whatever magic held them there before was no more.
“I need more nails! More longer nails!”

 

Moo told The Mister, “She’s mad cause she can’t get her scarves to hang up. She has too many scarves.”

“I NEED MORE NAILS! YOU BETTER LEARN TO PHRASE THESE PROBLEMS LIKE A WOMAN!”

    haha exactly! We always need more nails, or at least I do, to hang all the things on! 🙂 Never too many things.

    I used to have that problem with ties. Then came casual dress and life was good. I can make you a good deal on a tie rack.

    Ha, ha, ha!! Out of the mouths of babes and not-quite-babes-anymore (at least in the sense of age.) And she had to say it to the Mister, who might even agree. A viper in the bosom of the home.

    I got this really cool metal hanger from BBB with several hooky things arranged in a wave. The whole thing hangs over my closet door (the closet door that doesn’t have clothes hanging all over it). I love it. However you do it, scarf hanging is a work of art. Yours are beautiful.

    That’s like sayin’ you have too many handbags or shoes! Which a gal can never have!!

    Countdown begins in 3,2,1… til she has so many scarves, shoes, or handbags and she complains about the same problem of not having adequate storage for them. 🙂

    My scarves are sort of all over the place. There’s one in my car, the little neckerchiefs are in a drawer, and the long ones are on hangers, or draped over the blazer I like to wear a scarf with which are spread out between 3 closets, and the big wrap type ones are folded and put in a drawer or my closet shelf. I need to organize them so they’re all in the same place or vicinity.
    I think I have more scarves than I do shoes, or handbags. 🙂

    Yes, we women need to stick together and say things so it sounds like we have “normal” amounts of items. I have been trying to take clothes to Goodwill. As soon as I make a pile my grandies see a “costume” or “dress up” use! Lol 😀
