Yes she is — even when she still tries to work this angle now and again 😉

Sistant sounds way better than maid. Smart girl! She’s made a new word!

Assistants are wonderful when everything is working well. I depend on mine. But when she has family problems, such as now, I’m non-functional in many areas – because I have to do HER workload as well as trying to do my own! Nothing in life is easy!

Yes. I’ve often thought I’d benefit by having a wife… 😉
I hope things clear up for you soon.

So much to do! Got SO far behind being in recovery. I’m the only one who can write my books, and I’m the chronically ill one, but it STILL doesn’t buy me freedom from stuff that needs doing.
I probably won’t get that until I’m producing more money than goes out – respect is bought. Few realize talent (vs. ego) and are willing to be content to support it as their main job in life, and I don’t think we’re going to renegotiate into that one. As it is, husband does all the physical stuff – it seems churlish to ask for more.
I don’t know about you, but normal people take, it is estimated from business, 25 minutes to recover from an interruption. 2-3 of those, and I’m toast for the day. I’ve already had more – and even though they were short, my concentration is a weakling.
I’m working on it! is my motto.
But I don’t think they’re going to clear up until I’ve dejunked this house and we’ve picked a new place, sold this one, and moved – and then settled in. Aargh!

That’s so cute, unless you’re Sassy. But, ya gotta love honesty, especially adorable honesty.

Right? Who couldn’t benefit from a sistant? 🙂

Wouldn’t we all like a Sistent? Is Moo or Sassy available? 😉

Right? I should think we WOULD all benefit from a sistant!
Sassy would love to earn some pin money, lemme know 😉

I would love to have a sistent too! Moo is wise. Very wise 🙂

Smart girl, a maid’s scope is much narrower than that of a ‘sistent. Go Moo go!

I need one o’ them sistants! If Moo won’t come bake bread for me, maybe Sassy would come sist me a li’l?

With her training as Moo’s sistant, Mama’s helper, and Sissy’s lackey, she comes with excellent references, and since she has no concept of money, she’s fairly cheap, and can always use pin money.
Moo just asked her to get her a Gatorade and she said, “I’m only serving tea right now.” lol

Speaking from experience all I can say is that good sistents are hard to find 😉

Out of the mouths of babes. I absolutely love it. I never had a sister and always wanted one. Hope your girls know how lucky they are to have the funniest Mom around plus sisters. 🙂

Aw, yeah, thanks. I’m glad they have one another. I think the benefits and gratitude to siblings come much, much later in life… I always felt that wish myself, envied those who weren’t onlies — moreso now.

I could certainly use a ‘sistant’ now and then. You do realize this word will be integrated into your family’s vocabulary for many years to come? A delightful post. Thank you.

Thanks! Yes, we could all use a sistant! It never did catch on as a word here…

LOL, my husband and I are both sitting her laughing at this. All I want is a “sistant” too!

Moo’s still tryin!

I think everybody needs a good sistent! The oldest used to make breakfast for his brother and sister when they were little. He outgrew that pretty quickly. lol

Awww! But that’s sooooo sweet! Moo’s still tryin to work that “But I’m the baaa-aaa-by” angle with the lot of them 😉
