What’s your strongest sense?
Intuition? Feeling? My eyes are going. My ears aren’t as sharp, especially over the phone. I have a great palate and super sensitive nose. Still, I think it must be feeling. INFJ and all.

Which of Snow White’s 7 dwarfs describes you best? (Doc, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Grumpy, Dopey)
I’m goin with Sneezy.

If you could be one age for the rest of your life, what age would that be?
I have no idea. If we’re choosing bodies, I’ll take 25. If we’re choosing insides, I’d rather keep going. I figure I’m about a dozen millennia old now, what’s another 40-60 years?

List of Jobs You Think You Might Enjoy: Even if you aren’t thinking about a career change, it can be fun to think of other jobs you might enjoy.
OH! I want one of those jobs where you travel to eat and write about it! But not now, in like, five more years.
Professional student?
Mistress of Time?
I actually really like my job.
Landscaping is appealing, but too hot.
I love cooking, but it’s hot and stressful in a professional kitchen. You never get to tell someone else to stir the gravy while you sit down on the sofa in the middle of dinner hour.
I’m a good unlicensed therapist who probably should’ve taken six more hours to get a double major — but would I like it if I did it every day? Or would I be like, “OMG KAREN, Let It Go Already!” It’s hard to say.

Yep, my job is great, thanks.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I had so much fun on Friday that it felt like Saturday was Sunday, cause I’d already had so much fun! I think adults need more of that. I am grateful for my family, that I live in the city, and that my air-conditioning works! The Mister, ah, I tell you, I’m grateful for him.

This week is brutal with the go-go-go. Sassy has a pile of rehearsals so I have to work weird, the dog goes in for her check-up, and Indy filled the calendar this week.
I’ll be downtown A LOT.

And! We have tickets to:

symphony.3

…which should be a cool, dark highlight in a hot and busy week!!!

Cee’s Share Your World is a weekly feature and all are invited to join in and play along.

Intuition? I think that’s my wife’s strongest. I got nothin. She just knows stuff. It’s not fair. It’s like you guys travel in time and see the results, the end of the who dunnit, the diagnosis of the car’s problem “I think it’s s pinhole in a radiator hose” and stuff like that. There’s no earthly reason for find of the stuff you know. I think you should have one of those news jobs where you explain what’s going on to people.

  3. That’s why I’m delighted I found you! Hello, fellow INFJ. It’s a lonely job, opening the mouth, but someone has to do it.

  4. Also, that may be my problem marketing fiction: there are relatively few of us – and there is no way you can get away from who you are when you write fiction.

Found my credit card, found my car keys, when I locked myself out of the apartment I discovered the patio door was unlocked. Those were the good things. The bad? Bought a bird house and put a padlock on it (because earlier someone had taken my flowering hanging plant), The new bird house let the rain wash all the birdseed away, and I can’t find the combination to the lock……

I feel ya on the busy. Getting ready for all the summer camps and lessons galore! Plus Baby Girl is trying out a gymnastics type class this week and Little Man is trying out a Parkour class. Should be interesting at least!

  8. Most excellent, all of it. I did the test a few times, results are inconclusive because my last letter varies so much: from J to P and back, but I think I perceive more than judge. Anyway, I GET the too cartoons, and am I glad I am one! Such a cool answer on age!! And I wish you a truly love Carmina Burana evening.

Nice post. One age for the rest of my life? That is an interesting question. I think I would pick one of 3 ages. 14, 23 or 43. I have reasons for each. One question though. Would I have the same memories and knowledge as I have now? The answer to that could be a deal changer. Having fun is mandatory at any age. So have fun.

Gosh. All five senses are about equal, none are strong. Multiples; I do all seven dwarfs, Prince Charming and the wicked witch, all in the same day. Age? Since 30, I have always wanted to be younger, but I’m unwilling to give up what I’ve learned. Sorry, I’m not doing very well with this one.

Oooo! Carmina Burana! One of the best bits of the film of THE LION IN WINTER was its use of music from that. Oh, and I always wanted to be a beachcomber until I found out about writers. Now I want to be a beachcomber who also writes.

  17. Indianapolis downtown looks beautiful. I’m better with walking big cities. Driving, or even more so passengering, in one gets me anxious. I’ve been to quite a few ballets with an orchestra, but have not been to a symphony. An opera is on my bucket list.
Being paid to travel, eat, and write seems like a good job! I’m with you on the five years. I’m ready for whatever comes my way….once the girlie leaves for college. 🙂

It’s nice to know you’re on the five year plan, too 🙂 I like being present.
I don’t love the opera, but you might, and I think it’s good to try new things!
