What is your favorite cheese?
I cannot answer this question. I once stopped taking an online quiz because it asked me to pick my favorite cheese. I love all the cheeses. They are all equally beautiful and tasty.

Are you left or right handed?
Right

Do you prefer exercising your mind or your body? How frequently do you do either?
My brain is reluctant to idle. My body tends to fidget with nervous energy, and so daily for both. I’m particularly happy to do physical things that zen my brain out. If I sit long, I need to be mentally engaged in something. I think this is why I enjoy car rides and sitting on my sofa and staring at my trees so much.

Complete this sentence: Hot days are … the worst!

 

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week was a good time to play. We really did live it up and collect all the smiles. For our time together as a family, I am once again grateful. I’m happy Bubba and Simon stayed here this weekend, adding to our togetherness. This week, I experienced an outpouring of love, support, and kindness from many people in my life — that is no small thing.
Also, I fed a carrot to a giraffe.
Another day, I took a selfie with a giraffe sculpture.

This week coming up, I’m looking forward to collecting my favorite shoes from the repair shop and dinner hosted by friends.

    Hot days ARE the worst! That’s another reason I love living here…almost never too hot or too cold!

    Hmmm, based on these answers, I’m beginning to think we are twins separated at birth! My favorite cheese? Yes! There’s a place in Wisconsin, Carr Valley Cheese, that has a store and “factory” in Mauston (which, considering “Maus” is “mouse” in German, is more than a bit funny), where we stop every year on the way to and from Wyoming to cheese up. They have so many kinds of cheese and all delicious. Plus squeaky cheese curds!!!

    As much as I would like to be cool and suave, I can’t do the stinky cheeses, man. Just can’t. The rest are good. All of them.

    I’m so happy to be finding non-summer lovers like myself. It’s sooooo hot and especially humid right now. Commiserate!

    I love that you fed a carrot to a giraffe and that you took your shoes to the repair shop. People just don’t do that anymore. So cool. Old school!

    My stepfather used to like Limburger, which was at one time the standard for smelly cheese. Ever had that one?

      Sure! With braunschweiger and onion and spicy mustard 😛 I’ll admit the rinds can be pretty bad, and I don’t eat those.

    Cooper sharp white cheese…it’s a New York product. Many others, but not all. I’m with you on the “hot”…it’s a bummer.

      Cooper is familiar… but then Cooper is so NY… Hard to say. Can’t say I’ve had Cooper cheeses — But I would try it, of course!

    I so wish I could still eat cheese. Aged cheddar, Gouda, parmesan, feta…so delicious! Nevermind the faux non-dairy stuff. That is just plain not worthy.

    It’s been WAY too hot here! I like cheese way more than I should. When I do detoxes that cut out dairy, I’m like “not my cheese!”. It sounds like you had some wonderful family time! 🙂

    Our days are hot right now and I’m not at my happiest, so I get your answer. I want to feed a carrot to a giraffe. Once again you’ve shown me that I need to expand my horizons! Think outside the cage, so to speak.

    I’ve noticed that I become totally engaged in watching trees and animals through the window very easily. It’s how I’ve spent most of my summer.
    I agree-it’s hard to pick one favorite cheese.
