“GOD IS THE BEST COOK!” I yell to no one as I stand at the counter, shoving forkfuls of watermelon into my mouth.

There is nothing to add to that comment. One thing I have learned chefin’ is sometimes you just need to stand out of the way of the food. Happy Watermelon Day.

If it’s not sweet enough, I’ll salt it. I’ll also put it in tequila with its juices, but this particular batch was perfect as is! 😛

Yes, He is! Especially when God gives us juicy southern peaches and golden honeydew at Costco. I haven’t had much watermelon this summer, but probably because I’ve been focusing on the honeydew for the last two months.

We usually get the already cut up pieces, since just the two of us can’t eat a whole watermelon. They most always taste great. 🙂

    Watty-melon!

There was this guy in Chicago that sold watermelons out of the back of his truck, which was painted with a picture of him sitting with a bunch of watermelons around him. They were really good. My guess is the guy isn’t still there…

I love berries and pineapple, sometimes a very sweet watermelon!! Summer brings yummy zucchini, tomatoes and sweet Vidalia onions. Fun one liner, Joey.
