One-Liner Wednesday — OMG MOO LOLZ

Picked Moo up from afters the other day. Soon as she got in the car, she said, “I’m glad I’m not doin cheer anymore.”
“Yeah? Why? What’re they doin?”
“Going to a football game!”

I cackled. I laughed so hard, I cried.

“No thank you.”

I figure there are better things to do than go to a football game, but a lot of people do go.

  7. I enjoy football: once a year or so I watch the news by accident and catch the 5-min. highlights of a game. Those are fun.

That’s too funny! So what did Moo think she was cheering for if not at a game?

Makes sense to me. She joined to CHEER! Everybody can use some cheering on. She can apply those skills through out her life for herself and others. Though I did like to watch my father enjoy football on TV in his old age.

      Moo’s on the left.
When Moo was in cheer, she didn’t realize WHY we have cheerleaders. Now she knows and she’s glad she isn’t in cheer now.

This one liner from your daughter is just priceless! Super cute photo. …Ahh cheerleading… my daughter was a cheerleader from kindergarten through high school. Yes, football, and basket ball games are included in the job description. Many, many games she had to attend. Many, many uniforms had to be bought. She loved it though. She started out on a soccer team, then found out you can’t touch the ball with your hands…that was the end of that, so she decided she wanted to cheer for the teams, instead! haha 🙂

It’s good to have that one thing consistent 🙂 I’m glad your daughter enjoyed it so much.
I thought Moo was gonna tell me they were doin burpees or running in the heat or something. I was NOT expecting that! 😛 It was tremendously funny, as though it had never occurred to her!

  18. That’s too funny! I remember stumbling upon a cheer competition at one of the Disney Parks when the kids were little. It was impressive to see!

Everyone should be able to jump and cheer and wave pompoms all they want without reason. Moo was just being honest. Adorable picture.

It was so incredibly funny to me, so much so, I still laugh every time I remember it. Yes, always honest, Moo. Even when she shouldn’t be. Gets it honestly.
