    Doors that are blocked kind of freak me out. Seems almost sinister, but not quite. Great photos.

    Great arched stone doorway, and window. I love the flowers by the gate they frame it nicely.

    Love this one. 🙂 Many, many homeowners up here in New England choose to not use their front door so they will have a plant or an outdoor decoration at the top of the steps so you don’t mistakenly attempt to use that door. The other day I actually saw one where they had put a fence across. I did have to laugh at that one.

      I’da been amused, too.
      We know some people who blocked off their front door inside, but no evidence of it from outside, and that’s how they know who’s come to call.
      Whereas I will FREAK OUT if someone comes to my side door.

    Perfect captions! I always wonder what happened for a door or window to lose their place. That specific door space had some beautiful architecture surrounding it. I’m sure a lovely door once filled its space. 🙂

    oh this was wonderful….
    and it always puzzles me as to why certain doors and windows get covered – and curiously – the window here looks like it had original stone in there – like it was built that way… (like, sike….)
