Quite often, I straddle my husband on the sofa. Sometimes it’s flirty, sure, but mostly, it’s just comforting.
Sometimes it’s like this:
Imagine my surprise when the other day, The Mister straddled ME.
I gotta tell ya, it wasn’t the same. Twas neither sexy nor comforting.
He couldn’t wrap himself around me. His arms are longer than my seated body. He couldn’t rest his head on my shoulder. He had to bend himself in half to put his head on mine. It was more like he did push-ups: kiss-me-not, kiss me, kiss-me-not, kiss me.
I couldn’t hold him as he holds me, or get a good grip on his non-existent hips.
Motorboating left me with a mouth full of plaid.
For quality time, I do not recommend it. For a few laughs, I highly recommend it!

Cute. It has been quite some time since my husband and I have done any couch cuddling (for too many reasons to go into here). Create is my word of the year for next year and I’m going to create some time for such things. Thanks for the inspiration!

This is hilarious. I, too, do the straddling thing on sofa. Mostly cause it’s comfy and I get attention. I don’t think I’d enjoy it in reverse.
The cat wanting to join in the crowd is hilarious. Miss Sunshine had me scratch her head the other night and the puppy squeezed in to have his head scratched too. p.s. – I found out Miss Sunshine caught a snippet of him eating the snow. I included it today.
