The prompt today is pants.
I’m not wearing mine yet. I’m robe-clad.
I’ve got coffee, but I can’t stare at my trees yet, cause it’s too dark. Right now I can make out a vee in the branches, and I think one of those may be a telephone pole.
I’m gonna wear pants though. Jeans. I’m a bit chuffed about dressing today because it’s the first time I’m not wearing a sweater in I dunno how long. Sweaters with scarves have been on rotation for weeks and weeks of around 0 temps — give or take 10 over/under.
Some ‘unusually warm’ weather is here now and my pants and I are looking forward to the change!
Thinking warm thoughts for you Joey on this Monday morning. Probably not a good time to tell you about sunbathing yesterday. Wishing you a best ever week ahead. – JoHanna

Haha! Well, no, I’m fine with THIS weather, thanks 🙂 No sunbathing for me all year, none at all. Nope nope!

So many years in the sun…most of my working years were spent outside- skin gone to ruin. ….Often mistaken now for an old wizened desert lizard splayed on a sun warmed rock.

LOL Well, the wizened lizard look works for you! 🙂 I hate to be hot.

It’s 18f here, which is 25 degrees warmer than yesterday at this time! I am still wearing a sweater though, our office never really gets warm. I’m jealous that you can wear jeans. We get to wear jeans in the summer and for a couple of weeks around Christmas. For now until Memorial Day, it’s Business Casual – the worst kind of casual there is.
Have a great day!

I had a great day. It was a rough morning, for awhile I thought the files would bury me alive, but I made it out and only one file on my desk for tomorrow! I hope you were warmer at work today. My office is cold too.
Heightened by your envy, I must say, I LOVE wearing jeans. It makes me so much happier 🙂

Maybe someday we’ll get the green light for jeans year-round. Probably after I retire 😦
Glad you had a great day – Have four more if you can.

I’m in pj’s and robe right now, although my pj pants are sweatpants these cold days, but today I’ll be wearing jeans, too. Sweater or the like still on the agenda, though!! Haven’t decided yet if they’ll be the flannel-lined or just regular. Amazingly it’s 32 this morning, which means we have a nasty mix of snow, ice, and slush. Last night when I got off work, the roads were fine but the sidewalks weren’t and I almost fell twice just walking to the parking garage. I have lots to do inside today, so the weather won’t be too much of a factor once I get back from some grocery shopping…or maybe I’ll go tomorrow. 🙂

I hope you had a nice warm day, Janet 🙂

I was inside working all day, but when the sun came streaming through the windows, it was delightfully hot! Glad you only “bout fell” and not really.

Well if we are sharing wardrobe info. I am in my standard boxers and shirt. That seems to be my standard gear unless I am going out. Gee I am such a slob. Have a great week. The weather is going to be a bit more civilized this week.

Saucy! 😛
I’m picturing you dancing around the kitchen now, hehe!
It really is going to be warm quite often 🙂 Thank you, YOU have a great week, too!

I read this and went to the online M-W dictionary wondering if clothing is the only meaning for pants. They had “words trending now” and I checked on “epiphany” to be sure my definition was correct. I use the second definition more often than the first. That led to a crashed CNN interview (Jake Tapper with Stephen Miller) and two more words: :factotum and obsequious. Reading Joeyfully Stated is educational (and fun) for me as one word leads naturally to another.

Eh, in Woodstock NY area, it’s still winter, which is good since I love seasons, but the pants are still longjohns and sweatpants–

Doesn’t take much for happiness in an optimist. I’m just happy I don’t have to monitor the dripping faucets in the upstairs bathroom – if the temperature gets in the teens, we have to keep those pipes from freezing. Plumber said it’s too much trouble to wrap the pipes.

Same here, master bath sink pipes. Outer northern wall. Bad deal. We open the vanity and open that vent when it gets under 10. Sometimes, when it’s crazy cold, we turn a space heater on em, but we can only do that at night, not while we’re gone, of course.

We’re back to typical deep south winter monsoon rains. I’ll take it. I’d rather be soggy than cold! Of course, I’m knitting scarves like a maniac, thereby ensuring we won’t see cold again for the next 7 years.

Still in my pjs too, but I’ll have to put mine on in a couple of hours when I go to work. Raining here.

True story! Wednesday we’re gonna hit 50 though, and I might break out a dress and tights, just cause I can!

Sounds like your weather pattern and ours are twins, like two legs in a pair of pants.

I hope you had a sunny day, and enjoyed it thoroughly- jeans and all! 🙂
It’s been raining here since last night. Yeah! We still need the rain. I wore my jersey stretch pants, and base layer top which turned out to be a wise choice b/c #1 Grandson and I stayed in and built a neat Super Hero Lego set today. I was sitting on the floor for hours helping him build it.
A smallish kit with 365 pieces. He spent the whole afternoon playing with it while I listened to the rain, and him. Pretty sweet day actually.
