I’m just jotting to tell you I’m taking a Me Day today.
So far, I’ve played word games, watched Monk, pet all my animals, and fallen asleep –twice.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go make a sammich and fetch a pickle and get back to how Mr Monk solves this murder.

Wishing you all a peaceful evening, heart, heart.

Wonderful activities. I watched Monk for several seasons and then stopped, not sure why. Maybe I should find it again?

I have those days most of the time. Such is the life of a self indulgent old fart. Glad to see you getting some me time, it puts that twinkle in your eye. Nite

Mom and I LOVED Monk! Any mystery we watched after that, we would try to guess the perpetrator: “Is he the guy? Yeah, I think he’s the guy.” If we got irritated by something being uneven or out of place, we’d say, “That’s Monkin’ me out.” Enjoy your Me day! ā¤

The one I was watching then was about a woman who tried to make herself a doppelganger of her lover’s wife, kill his wife, and board a plane to live as the wife. Didn’t work out, of course.

“Pete and repeat were on a bus… Pete fell off – and who was left?”

Oh cool – well keep me posted if you have a favorite episode.
I only watched after the show was canceled – and Joey – it is one of my most favorite shows ever.
            and another side note –
that new show I have been soaking up this month – the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel – has Tony Shalhoub playing Maisel’s dad.
And I liked him more as Monk – loved him – and have only warmed to his character in the fifth episode. And I do not think it is because I am used to him as Monk – I think his character (quirky dad who teaches math at standford) was flat until the recent episode where he found out maisel was arrested at some point.
anyhow – I need to get some Monk episodes in very soon

              Is that Maisel one streaming?
It will take me months to get through Monk, but maybe after…

I know amazon prime has Maisel – there are only 8 episodes so far (I think) and yeah – good luck getting your Monk ones in – there was almost a decade of them – and side note – my favs are in the latter half – with Natalie – but early ones have their place…
is monk back on netflix? seems like it was and then they took it off for a long time – I feel like the folks who made Monk are robbing the public by being so stingy about stream options – and for a while if clips were shared on You-tube they were silenced. Like I made one of natalie’s daughter singing and was Xd.
