It’s sunny and it’s supposed to get up to 60° today. Let me tell you what I should do. I should go out and work in my yard. I need to peel back the winter blankets, spray errrything with Wet It & Forget It, and pick up an entire forest of twigs and branches.
Yeah, I’m not gonna do any of that today.
The daffodils approve and the tulips are open to the idea.
Happy Friday Everyone!
Our daffodils didn’t make it through the winter weather in spring. They should have, but they didn’t!

Oh how sad! The ones up by the house have some boxwoods to protect them, but the white ones out in the yard are exposed, and not all of them have opened yet. I may plant a patch in the corner of my fence, if it’s protection they need. Of course, I see plenty of exposed daffies elsewhere…

Clever – and beautiful to see. Even if you wanted to clean up, you’ve been out-voted.

I will enjoy your pretty flowers on my computer because I’m not into that whole getting my hands dirty in the garden thing. Thank you for sharing them 🙂

I had beautiful Black tulips that I brought home from Holland 10yrs ago…until one of my darlings smashed the pot with his football and threw it all in the bin. He didnt realise the bulbs were in there.

Yes, enjoy the day!! That’s what I did, too. After lunch, I walked to the little lake near our house and sat by it for a long time, just relaxing and doing nothing. I almost fell asleep, but had to resist, as I was sitting near the edge of the water. It was absolutely delightful. Yard work may commence next week!

Friday, I FINALLY had time and weather to go mushroom hunting. I found a grand total of two. I only found one additional dried-up one. I don’t know if the deer ate them all or if they just didn’t venture out this year any more than I did. Ah, well. Those two were delicious!

Oh that’s very nice. Nature makes her way just as well with gentle guidance as she does with a garden fiend! lol
