It’s Friday, and Somehow, Mid-May

I’m down to 59 posts left to read. Course, you’ll all write more while I’m at work…

It’s all good.

I’ve got a moon pie for breakfast. A moon pie and half-caff — the breakfast of people who talk a good game about sleep, but actual sleeping? Not so muches.

The Mister has lovingly offered to take the 5am parenting shift tomorrow, and by lovingly offered, I mean, “Oh Daddy really wants you to do it? Good, see if he’ll take you.”

Obviously if I knew what this week would be like I would never have made a 10am Saturday appointment with the veterinarian.

I cannot believe it’s May 18 already.

I gotta go to the grocery store or the weekend will be rather canned food-oriented. Canned salmon with black olives, diced green chiles, topped with cream corn. Orange peaches floating in condensed milk for dessert. Mmm, NO.

It’s a good day anyway, cause it’s Friday! It’s also only gonna be a high of 73 today!

Maybe I’ll get through my to-be-filed pile!
Hahahahahahaha!
AHAHAHAHA!

Happy Friday Everyone!

  3. I can’t believe we are in the middle of May either, Joey! HAPPY FRIDAY! Love your diplomacy FYI … yes, Daddy would flipping love to do it. (wink) I have 2 more gardens to go and I am done until I have to turn around to transplant, plant, put border fencing in and distribute statues, take pictures (of course) and keep up with these durn weeds. Turned a wee cooler here today and it feels wonderful. We went from freezing to HOT. Our poor trees still don’t know what they are doing. Good luck at the Vet’s … we are on that page too. I get sooooooo nervous! Make sure you put those lovely feet up Sunday!! 😘😘😘

Happy Friday, Joey! Your pantry ingredients sound like basket items from the TV show “Chopped.” You sure you can’t make something out of that?

You’re actually going to try and read all of those posts? Wow, you’re committed! I forget to go to my email to check out new posts for days and then, all of a sudden, I have 400 emails. Well, let’s just say, I pick a few to read and then move on, cuz you know there’s grocery shopping and filing to do. :-p

I absolutely could do something with the first four ingredients, but instead we went to sushi! YAY! Chopped will have to wait! πŸ˜›
I love the blogs I read, and really hate to miss them, yeah.
There will never, ever be an end to my to-be-filed. If you can imagine, people keep generating work for me like they don’t see the file pile! Haha! *knows you CAN imagine* !!!

WORD. You have yourself a good one! Getting out of the 5am was definitely a step in the right direction! I’m hoping there’s a nap, cause I gotta go get a kid after midnight, and you know The Mister ain’t gonna make it! πŸ˜›

Yay, 2 Joey posts in one day. I was late getting to your Thursday door piece. Actually salmon patties with green chiles and black olives doesn’t sound bad. The other stuff not so much. Have a happy Friday as well.

The fact it’s May 18th has left me similarly shocked. I’m loving the warmer temps though.

  8. Happy Friday to you, too, Joey. I understand the post reading thing as I’ll be working today, tomorrow, and Sunday (after church in the morning), so I doubt I’ll be able to get to all the posts unless I do nothing when I get home except read posts. Sigh. I always feel bad when that happens, as I love when people read and comment on mine, but what’s a blogger to do? πŸ™‚ Enjoy the weekend!

LOL The real question in life. HOW DO WE DO ANYTHING WITH KIDS?!? Work seems to work, but there’s very little time off from parenting! (Except sometimes when we’re at work or they’re asleep…) πŸ™‚

  11. May has been kind of a dust devil for me too. There was way too much going on at work, and I decided to release a book right in the middle of that. The way it’s going, maybe I should ask what year it is instead of which month. Funny, there were more than a few canned and microwaved dinners this month too.

I’ve always heard that the appropriate drink with a Moon Pie is an RC Cola, but I think just about anything goes with a Moon Pie. Chocolate or banana-flavored?

Happy Friday. Think of us on Sunday when we have to get up at o’dark 30 to drive 1-1/2 hours to watch our little girl graduate from college at 8 AM and then drive back home 1-1/2 hours to put together a party in our backyard. Life, you gotta love it.

I’m glad you’re catching up, but don’t worry about it. This week got away from us too. I’m usually long done reading by now. I think it’s the whole May thing. There’s just so much more to cram in

I hope you have a great weekend and I hope you catch up with you.

I had to look up what a moon pie was. Ummm – no. Marshmallow. I’ll stick with my banana and peanut butter.

Hope you have a great weekend that’s a lot drier than it is here right now.

Yeah, it’s usually oatmeal and a banana for me. Lack of sleep does not promote good eating habits for me. MORE SUGAR! MORE CAFFEINE! MORE SUGAR! lol Nice healthy dinner tonight, and, after we pick up Moo, sometime after midnight, I predict sleeping long and hard πŸ™‚

It is weird that it seems just like the other day you were posting snow photos, and now it’s feeling like summer already. I’m playing catch up too, on reading blogs, as my computer went out on Thurs. and was in the repair shop almost all of Fri. Ugh, hate when that happens. Your canned dinner choices sound pretty good to me. I’d never eat sushi, though. haha! Happy weekend! πŸ™‚

I’m days behind in following you and all my other bloggy friends. I find the same thing that you do, I only leave for a few days and suddenly I have 70+ blog posts to read. Exciting, but tiring, too.

I had severe computer issues and am now behind 233 emails. Of course, probably only 200 are blogs…
I hate to miss out though. I really do. Some people (like you) I can’t stand to miss!

We had to set early alarms for most of our time on vacation. However, there were two days in Edinburgh with no timeline and I told my mom that I wasn’t setting an alarm. lol. It was glorious to have a little sleep. Now I’m back on school schedule time, but with the end of the year, it’s all over the place!

I regularly stay at hundreds of blogs to read. Once in a blue moon I attempt to catch up, like now. It never happens. Mostly I feel bad about that, but there’s that small “meh” part of me.
