I love the red doors. I usually have a collection and not a solo — but this one — it’s just too happy to see us and I needed to share it TODAY.

For some reason, this door reminded me of Captain Kangaroo which you may be too young to know about. I looked up the show on youtube and found this video. The door must have been a very early memory. Plus, after they started showing it in color, the Captain wore a red coat with white trim. https://youtu.be/q3w7w58CREY

Haha! Well, feel better, JoAnna, I am NOT too young for Captain Kangaroo 😛 I watched him religiously in the first grade, followed by Bozo the Clown. Then I went back to Janie and Cowboy Bob… Hm. I wonder why. Maybe it was a cable issue. Anyway, I’m fondly remembering 🙂 Thanks!

That’s a beauty. Crisp and neat surrounded by blue with a bit of natural brick on the edge. Such a happy door.

Red doors are my favorites too. There is something with them that most people love.
My home entrance door is red too, although it needs a fresh coat of paint 🙂
