When I don’t have time to pursue great doorness, I just keep an eye out for doors.

Well that’s interesting. I love the green color of the door.

It was in an alley behind a daycare. Maybe a bit of reno?

Oh dear. I’m afraid I don’t have any. It was in an alley behind a daycare. That’s all I got.

Cute door, nice green. I hope the paint the kids used was water based.

Um, it’s a green door behind the day care. I am so upset because it looks like it is on fire. Take the babies to safety.

I have to clarify, I am commenting on the jotting.

That looks like a door with a story to tell.

One door up, one door down, with so many blue (hand) prints all around.
And that is grass — green grass. You went to Australia for this? 🙂
It is, by all means, what it is: a two door deal.

Always good to have a spare door lying around. 🙂

If it was in an alley behind a day care, it implies this lovely white and green door is being discarded 😕 I hope it will be repurposed somewhere!
The day care also explains the handprints on the wall. Love the whimsical look 🙂

Perhaps it’s been turned into a piece of art…or will be. Either way, I like the colors and the fun of finding/seeing it.

That was my guess, too! Teacher brain, eh?

Take it with you. Prop it up in the park when you need a door. Think of it like a spare tire.

Little hand prints always look a bit Blair Witchy to me. Nice door, though!

But… they’re wee people hands!

Zackly. Have you ever seen The Blair Witch Project? As the film reviewer for The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction said, “Be afraid. Be kind of afraid.” But the wee handprints was one of the afraid bits.

I have. Twice. I think the teacher part of me is stronger than the cinephile part.

Nice find! When you keep our eyes open good things can happen…or at least we don’t go bumping into things 😀

I like how finding a random discarded door makes us all “yay, a door!” I like the springlike colors here.

I like how neatly the door is painted. Unlike its sad industrial counterpart and the streaky handprints on the wall. It adds to the composition ;). I bet the kids had a blast making the wall decor though!
