Well I’ve just been sitting here staring at this white space waiting for inspiration, but I got nothin. Lemme stare s’more.
Oh, okay, now I have dinner. Oof! Too hot. Hasta cool.
Where is my husband? Is he in traffic? Did he go to the store again? Has he fallen in love with the sight of his own face in a puddle? Oh my gosh, he just text me. He had to go to UPS for his parents and now he’s on his way. That’s nice. Do you think if I type in questions about other people, they’ll text me, too? Imagine the power.
I do believe that’s a jot thought, right there.
I can’t text you, but I can comment here. I’ve decided that inspiration is overrated. I just write stuff. I got this book today (cuz I wrote that blog about words): Sniglets: any word that doesn’t appear in the dictionary, but should. Here’s one. ‘Pupkus’ – n. The moist residue left on a window after a dog presses its nose to it. What were his parents doing at UPS anyway?

Haha! It took them two days to realize they needed a router. It takes me about ten minutes. Router before coffee pot, Man.
Pupkus is a fantastic word! I shall use it! 😀

Maybe you have the power. All moms should have that power.

“Has he fallen in love with the sight of his own face in a puddle?” – I’m still laughing at the thought.

What did we do before we had texting to check up on the hubbies? That, and Find Friends (so I can make sure he doesn’t fall off his bike on his way home)!

I think there’s a story in that.

There was, but I didn’t write it. It’s just a jot 😉

No, I mean, like, an entire novel.

Busy day here with no time to stare into space. Got a lot done, though. Fixed shepherd’s pie for dinner and my husband remarked how well mashed potatoes hold in the heat. 🙂 But it was delicious as usual, so that was good. You can get inspired tomorrow because, as Scarlett once famously said, “Tomorrow IS another day.” Sleep well.

Oooh, yes, Janet, speak to me of mash in a crust 😛 Haven’t done one yet this winter. Maybe this weekend, thanks to you 😉

Ever since Husband and I put Find Friends on our phones, we are able to ‘stalk’ each other. I no longer wonder where he is – although I often question why it’s taking him so long 😉

Hah! I hadn’t considered that. He was about 20 minutes later than expected, and usually he calls. I’m glad he’s not the kind of person who would call me FROM the UPS line! 😛

Yes! Doesn’t that make you crazy when someone stands in a lineup chatting on the phone? Even worse when they are Face Timing! One of my many pet peeves.

That would be an awesome power! No more questions unanswered. Unless they were staring at their faces in puddles. That might slow them down. 🙂

It really would be!
I have not had that yet, but the day is coming, I’m sure. Leaving Mimom on red will result in loss of phone and they know it.
Now, with Bubba, he is so delayed in reply, I refuse to worry until it’s been 24 hours. We had that recently, before Thanksgiving. No one had heard from him. His auntie found him at work, (they worked in the same building) his ringer had gotten shut off and he had no idea. It was kinda scary for about an hour.

Yikes!
I saw an app released recently that locks down a phone until they respond back to their parents, lol. My brother’s mom would’ve loved it, because he never texted back. Still doesn’t.
