I Almost Forgot to Jot!

Snow!
We got snow!
Real snow!
Hours and hours of snow!
I dunno how many inches. Plenty.
Some things were canceled.

Oh, I love the look of that. Wish I could experience it once in a while but then it would just go away without me having to shovel it or anything.

That’s the dream — A snowy Sunday, thick and beautiful, all plowed away by Monday’s commute. This one’s pretty close to that. Snowy weekend, cars had to be revealed and it might be a bit slippy in the morning, but not too bad.

I’m so happy it makes you happy, however please keep it there. I’m liking this no-snow version of winter we’re having so far … but by all means, continue to enjoy it!! 🙂

We’ve had a dusting of snow overnight – I’m ok with that, but much more on the way this weekend. Oh well. It’s January 🙂

More here this weekend, too. Much grocery chaos tonight. People act like every snow is the blizzard of 78. *sigh*

I know. It kind of makes me roll my eyes. The point is they want people to exercise care and judgement in travelling during bad weather. Instead it’s treated like Armageddon.

You must laugh with me. Got up, looked out the window to see the accumulation — OF RAIN. Melting away the snow we already had from last weekend. Will it snow at all, I wonder?

It’s been coming down here since mid-morning – the very fine ‘drizzle’ type snow. It is however accumulating – at -12C (14F) it’s unlikely to melt anytime soon.
We’re just going to get grazed by the storm. The full brunt is going to be all south of the Great Lakes.

It’s still raining south of Lake Michigan’s U. The snow should start in about 90 minutes, they say. It’s about -2C and falling. It’s like it’s WINTER.

Now, I am officially jealous. We might get some snow this weekend – I don’t believe them, but that’s what they say. That looks wonderful!

I prefer snow over cold I just wish my fellow Hoosiers would remember how to drive in it.

Snow makes some really pretty photos. My daughter in KC got a heavy dose of snow, too, and sent me photos. Lots of broken trees everywhere. Nice to stay inside on days like this.

We got snow, too, but it melllllted away the next day. But, while it lasted, we had neighbor children making a snowman and sledding down our hill (by invitation). 🙂

Relaxing at home is so nice. Our big snow was a dud. 8″ became 1 1/4″, but the icy morning was enough for the schools to be canceled today.
