#ThursdayDoors — Open, Easy Breezy

I’m not sayin these are the best looking doors in Florida, although I’m a big fan of aqua, I’m just sayin this threshold might be the best feeeeeeling one in Florida.

These are the doors to Junkanoo restaurant, where before you even get to the front porch, the salty sea air whooshes by as though you are walking into another dimension WHERE YOU ARE NOT HOT.Β  The other side of this restaurant is open, open, open to the shore and it is easy breezy.Β Wind tunnel style, it blows your hair back, blows your clothes away from your body, blows a smile onto your face. Well, my face. I love the feeling of wind, at least above freezing. So before we even ordered cocktails or looked at the menu, I loved this place.

The food was delicious.

Still, I think the fresh sea air and the view were even more delicious than the delicious food.

Nice doors. I like that color. For some reason it reminds me of New Mexico and I grin.

Isn’t it just marvelous when a doorway can transport us to another dimension, another feeling, another memory? Everyone should have a set of doors that have similar power over their wellbeing. Thanks for sharing these beauties.

Bit of everything I think. I had shrimp and rice and veg, The Mister had glazed salmon, but Moo had pulled pork and slaw on a bun, and Sassy won’t eat seafood — I don’t remember what she ate. It was all very yummy πŸ™‚

I love those doors, Joey, and considering the crappy spring we’re having, I would really appreciate warm wind and a beach.

I like those doors, too! And this made me want to eat seafood so I’m going to go make salmon patties for dinner because that’s as close as I can come.

Awesome doorfie, and yes this is an inviting, airy, breezy, welcoming entry. I can almost smell the salt air and feel the sense of freedom right through my screen.

I like that colors, although it’s one I always get wrong. It’s good to hear you say something nice about Florida. The breeze feel by the sea is a special part of visiting that place.
