One-Liner Wednesday — W is for What?

The server asked The Mister, “What side would you like?”
“He’ll have fries so I can eat them,” I said.

As long as you’re not digging into his main course. Women always do that 😦

Universally the worst habit of women:
Waiter – “Do you want fries with that?”
    Woman – “No thank you.”
    Man – “Yes please.”

    Food arrives

Woman – “Oooh, those fries look nice, can I pinch a few?”
Man – “You said you didn’t want any.”
    Woman – “Only a few…”

    Ten minutes later;
Man – “You’ve eaten all my fries.”
    Woman – “I didn’t realise how hungry I was.”

I say to waitress “No wine for me.” Hubby says “I’ll have a large glass of wine and she’ll drink it.” Lol.

  7. In a big family growing up, we always tasted each other’s food. Old habits die hard. But the husband favors liver and onions. That’s where I draw the line. ☺

That would be my husband’s line. LOL He always tells me one reason he married me because when he took me out on dates, I gave him what was left on my plate to eat. 🙂

I love sharing big plates of any kind of fries, even sweet potato or carrot fries. Neither tastes bad with lots of salt and ketchup. Lol! 😀 You know what I have been noticing , Red Robin and a few other places have unlimited french fries! Yummy! I like almost any spice that they add, too. Some have paprika, some have garlic and pepper plus salt…. I am drooling now, thank you, Joey!

Share fries? I think not. I’d rather go the route of Joey from ‘Friends’ and order a plate of fries for the table 😀

  12. Great way to not gain any weight because you didn’t order it.

My wife would do that. But fries are better when shared. You did share them with him, right?

Actually, at that place, he orders cheese curds he can’t eat all of, and then orders the spicy Cuban he can’t eat all of, so no, no sharing necessary 😛

  14. I say that all the time, too. Thankfully, Farmguy doesn’t mind sharing his French fries; however, dessert–that’s another story! 😉
