Share Your World #32

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?
Just back the ice cream truck right into the drive…

What is the worst thing you ate recently?
Mouthful of cat hair, absolutely. Although I did a lot of “PLEH! PLEH! PLEH!” I’m certain I ingested some.

You are comfortable doing nothing? For long stretches of time?
No. I really have to work at relaxing. I like to have the option, though, if that makes sense.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
That weekend was delicious. Just delicious. I am so grateful I had a reprieve and I look forward to the return of ‘normal’ — Oh! My sunflowers are starting to open! They could open this week!

Thanks, Judy. I’d thought for a long time that they were dud seeds. I thought maybe they’d bloom next year. I bought some giants, they’re over my head! 😀

    The ice cream truck…mmmmm…
I can hardly believe we’ve moved to a neighborhood that doesn’t have an ice cream truck. This is cruel and unusual punishment.

This is a good one. I am torn between ice cream ( any kind) and Beluga. Worse thing eaten would be some corned beef hash from some little joint on the West side. I have always thought it would be cool to be a window washer for tall buildings. It would be solitary;with no one hovering over you and it would be seasonal. I get really bored if I do nothing for any long periods of time. My body may not be up to a lot of activity but my mind just won’t quit. Why do people grow Sunflowers? For the blooms or the seeds. My Grandpa always had them growing by his garden but I never knew why.

Thanks! I planted mine for pretty, but if the birds don’t eat them all, we’ll enjoy the seeds, too.
I can honestly say I would not like to be a window washer for tall buildings. Oy.
Beluga, mmhm, good call. Invite me over for that truck, k? My mind is so busy, ugh, I know how you feel.

I had to check this post before wrapping up for the night. I’m with you on the ice cream truck, and, unfortunately, probably the cat hair. I could not do any of those jobs 🙂 Nicely done, as always.

In spite of my complete lack of control over anything sweet – cake, cookies, chocolate, jelly beans, etc, – I think I would go for an unlimited supply of cheese. All kinds of different cheeses … there is no such thing as too much cheese. Cheese makes everything better. Yup, definitely cheese.

Eating cat hair is the worst, although liver and blue cheese may top that. Blech.

If that ice cream truck were loaded with Blue Bell ice cream, that would be even better.

So fun to read 🙂 Your career choices and my career choices would be fraternal twins. Not sure about the food critic thing, but the other 3 choices are on my list as well.
Oh and please post a pic of newborn sunflower!

I often wish I could go back in time and do something mental-health-related. Otherwise I’d love to be a naturalist a la Darwin. You know, travel around and look at stuff for the sake of looking at stuff.

I was so close to a double major, but I wanted to be done, done, done! When I finished with my teaching degree, I thought maybe I’d get the counselor master’s, but then time, and children, and money, and time and now I don’t want that at all.
