I shall jot through January, as I do every year.
This year will be a greater challenge because of work. I’ve been working full-time for over a month, and if I don’t blog in the morning, it seems I don’t blog at all. I start the week off well, and then it’s just a sad lil tale of my good intentions. Le sigh.
I figure maybe bloggin SOMETHIN every day in January will train me up a new habit.
In addition to Just Jot It January, I’ve joined The Escapist Coloring Club.
As I’ve written many times, I tend to do what LindaGHill tells me to. Also, I love to color.
Today is about jotting itself and sharing the highlights from the last week.
We did nom the noms. I may have eaten two tons of mashed potatoes and one ton of my ham gravy. I do not know, but I know I’m sad I’m not eating it right now.
We did go downtown for coffee and a walk around the circle.
We did snuggle into one another and sleep aplenty.
And best of all, I finally got my white Christmas.

yaaasss, snow, yaaasss
It was bliss.
However, this weekend is better. It’s simpler. And snowier. I very much like this extra day, and hope you do, too.
May you be healthy, wealthy, and goal oriented in this year and be a great a great achiever in 2018!!

Blogging in the morning….I so get it, Joey. I was bummed when the Daily Prompt started arriving at 8am instead of 7am. Yikes! Major rush to post, primp and put the pedal to the metal to get to work on time. I hope 2018 is lovely to you.

I do so love an early prompt. That’s part of the reason I quit doing Share Your World. West coast morning is not my morning.
Linda’s always got the prompt up before I wake.
I hope 2018 is lovely to you, too 🙂

Don’t stress yourself out about blogging because we don’t want to lose you. Just blog when you want. We’ll wait. 🙂

That’s very kind. I enjoyed blogging six days a week, I really did. I write every day, may as well be here plenty. Thanks so much!

We’ll take whatever we get from Joey. The more Joeys the better, but any amount works. The snow picture is pretty. The food is yum and I like the B&W version too (including the cat).
I’m going to jot tomorrow, ‘cuz it’s my prompt, but I can’t do every jot. I have to write them ahead of time, work starts too early.

That’s mighty nice of you to say 😀 Thanks!
I dunno how many prompts I’ll use, but I’m committed to the jot!

Sigh.
I love the work, but the time… well that’s another matter. I want to stop time! 😛

Jotin’ with Joey. I’m looking forward to it. How long does a jot have to be? Maybe I’ll give it a whirl. I keep thinking I need to write every day and then life. Work. Dog. Sleep. And, as you say, Le sigh. Happy New Year, Joey.

Well I hope your plans work out for you. Someone once told me that if you can do the same thing 7 days in a row it will become a habit. Perhaps you will find out. I hope your New Year is good year.

Happy New Year Joey!! I haven’t had the experience of a White Christmas yet. It looks like it was beautiful. I have a few of those “adult” coloring books, but still haven’t yet opened the pages. The food looks delicious. I need to get more creative than beans and rice. lol. 🙂

I guess I’m a Linda G. Hill follower, too. As for morning blogging, words don’t work in the morning for me. So I have to wait to find the prompt then after I write I reward myself with the Joey and Linda jots. I want what comes to be from me and not answers to the professional bloggers. 😉
This was a beautiful blog. Funny that you are getting snow and we can wear T-shirts. I guess that is about to go back to our weather norm as rain and snow are coming tomorrow.
I’m glad you are enjoying your job. I always love your blogs. But keep it fun for yourself and do what you can. Funny that we both found JJiJ a good start to keep up our writing.

Seriously, we are getting screwed on the snow stuff. Louisiana, Georgia, the east coast of SC, FLORIDA, all of those mofos are getting snow except us.
