#ThursdayDoors — Red Again

Red doors are among my faves, because I always notice them. In some cases, though, it’s not the door, it’s door-adjacent red.

The Fire Escape is an intriguing name for a hangout. I would expect stairs somewhere.

Yes red works for me too. I usually don’t see too many nice red ones around here that aren’t church doors so this collection is easy to appreciate – even the one to the ahem, “gentlemen’s club”.

  3. Perfect for those of us who LOVE red doors, and I do. My front door is red and has been for twelve years. 🙂

We had a Red Garter downtown, too. Same as what yours is/was…. What is the Columbia Club? It looks very official.

Wife always wanted a red front door on our home. We almost had one for years, meaning that it was almost red. Then we moved, then we sold, then they painted.

Phew, I finally got here! My phone would not bring me here.

I love red doors. I really like the playhouse “doors” and door and I like the doors at 702 Somewhere St (nice address). I wish the fire escape was a pub, but I still like the doors.

    Have a great weekend!

Who could not like red doors. They are so warm and inviting. The Columbia Club is a city country club and isn’t nearly as imposing as it used to be. The public is allowed in for lunch and the Red Garter used to be open for lunch, or at least so I am told. Have a good Friday, Saturday etc.

Once upon a time red doors signified a sort of business for “men”. (wink) I too LOVE red doors … they just really jump out. My front door however is not red on account I live with a very conservative person who won’t do “red”. Whatever. I get to enjoy red doors like this one. Have a great day, Joey!! 💖

I like red doors, too. That being said I think The Fire Escape needs to up their red game. A fresh coat of paint wouldn’t hurt, ‘ya know?

I be at the Columbia Club in October! Going to Magna cum Murder mystery festival! And I be at InConjunction again, where we met up last year, with #4 Daughter along! Wheeee!

Red doors are gorgeous and so much more noticeable than any other color, Joey! I loved the collection. My favorite wasn’t due to the red, but due to the marble carvings on the Columbia Club door framing. This whole post was enjoyable! 🎈 🌷

I found this little treasure of red doors buried in my inbox. Yes – I’ve had one of those months too and I’m grossly behind in … well, everything.

Love the doors with the big oval windows!
