I came home from work all, Phew! Whatta week!
I got a lot accomplished at work this week. I love that feeling of satisfaction. You know the one: When you get your irons outta the fire and you’re like, “Look at all my hot ass irons, y’all!”
At home, I went to bed early a lot, cause it’s been a woozy week. That germ got me good. I’m feelin great now, and weekends are much, much better when you’re feelin great.
People here are talkin about greasy diner food like Johnny Rockets and Steak n’ Shake, so I reckon that’s happenin.
I am super excited about waking up without an alarm tomorrow morning. Oh how I’m gonna snuggle all the people and the pets and ooh, that’s gonna be so nice for me. Mayhaps for them, too, but definitely for me!

Thanks! It’s hot here, too. Not much in the outness for me. Had that dinner, Friday, went out for a pedicure and pho takeout yesterday, might go to get ice cream, maybe run to the drugstore later. Lots of AC snuggles, though! Hope y’all are stayin cool!

The weekend, I’m so ready. The greasy food, not so much. I ordered the turkey club and saved the turkey for the dog 😛 LOL

Must be in the air! Our team rocked it this week and got so many projects completed and under control that we all promised to take the entire weekend off. 100% work free! Does not happen too often in a small firm. Feels great!

I am so glad you’re feeling better, Joey! So am I! Now we’re trying to deal with this hot hot hot heat that has descended upon us! I don’t need an alarm and I do not use one. My alarm is Cuddles who steps on my full bladder when he deems it is time for me to get up to feed the Gang. That is my wake-up alarm every day. LOL 🤣🤣🤣

Two things: I love your glasses! And Steak-N-Shake…mmm. When we used to live in a bigger town and weren’t surrounded by cow pastures, we had one of those, and so much yum there.

I, too, have lived far from a Steak n’ Shake — Seven years. Only time i got to have it was on the way home from Jekyll Island, a good 90 minutes from home then. We’d be all hot and wet from the beach and step inside the Steak n’ Shake AC and freeze! LOL it was worth it!

Yay!! So glad you are feeling better. Hope the weekend was glorious! I had dinner out with my parents on Saturday, where I ate many baby back ribs and had the best cole slaw. I suspect the 4th will be filled with similar food. Then we have a day trip to Busch Gardens. I won’t be eating one of those giant turkey legs, but I assume the food will still be heavy. lol.
