I like the bottom doors best but I like the whole facade of the middle doors. Great brick and cute little thingie above the small door.

48, 49, 50, 51…These are all pretty, but you’ve given me mysteries to ponder.
That first photo, the not here anymore doors, is a wall that appears to be in trouble. I’m not sure if that was the original design, but it’s the wrong place for a keystone and it appears that the lentil and the bricks above the door are giving up. Maybe the door(s) were removed so they could shore-up the structure. I’m also trying to figure out if either door in the second photo are original.
Given all the pondering going on, I’m afraid I won’t have time to count the bricks 52, 53, 54…

I do think the double doors in the middle one are the originals, just on the basis of wear and panel style.
Interesting technical observations. I shared a different angle on the building with the keystone on Instagram, and now I wish I’d put that one up here. Maybe you could have solved the problem, visually. Still, it’s cool you can see structural issues — beyond the realm of my vision.

These things always get my attention. I’ve had to fix the framing around doors and windows too many times not to notice. The problem is that you have to find a way to transfer the weight above the door to the sides of the door where the support is. A keystone only works in an arch as the downward pressure on the keystone causes makes the arch tighter. In this scenario, there’s nothing to prevent the flat piece on each side of the keystone from leaning straight down.

Drat! I WAS counting the bricks until you mentioned it. Party pooper! I really like that last set and I have a trio today as well. Great door minds on a Thursday! Hope it’s a good one.

Unfortunately, Tuesday and Thursday seemed to switch MOs this week. Today suh-uh-uhcked! lol But I got some noodle soup and soon I’ll be in my bed. Sure hope yours was way better and if not, hey, at least we didn’t spend the day counting bricks!

I’m not usually one for fussy garage doors, but that last door calls to me. It’s probably the arch. I like arches.

doors by the numbers today- very nice.
and I will pass on the bricks but your trio of white was quite nice
and the last photo – the hardware that looks like arrows –
my sister n- law has that kind of hardware on her cupboards – they need to remodel the kitchen and every time they set out to do it – something comes up. And she has come to just like them more – still wants to change, but the cool thing the set is custom and is well made – but hopefully one day
