I stumbled across this door on my way to lunch in Broad Ripple on Monday. Isn’t it charming? I love the repeated arches. I tried to get it at an angle and distance where you could see the spruces arching over the walk.
Someone would probably try to tell me those aren’t tulips in the stained glass, but I’ll not be having it. I’m me and those are definitely yellow tulips!

Yeah I’ll buy he Tulips theory. I like the arched brickwork around the top of that little side window too. Good one.

The arches and the repeating elements in the door and window speak to a lot of thought that was put into an otherwise ordinary (as far as I can tell) house. I like when architectural details are repeated like this. Good job!

What a beauty. An evergreen arbor entry and tulips in the window. Makes you want to leave home just so you can come back.

I like the rich colour of the door, along with the stained glass.

They look like tulips to me! Pretty window to complement the doorway.

So beautiful–love that door. I wonder if it’s from the Arts and Crafts Movement?

Most likely. The houses in that area are generally turn-of-the-century.

Really charming. I’m a sucker for stained glass anyway.

Well now, I’d say this was a home run. Beautiful red door, stained glass with tulips and a living arch. Nice. 🙂

Red doors are really inviting and this one is gorgeous. The stainglass craft work is exquisite. I love the screen door too, allowing the sun and light to enter. Nice photo, Joey. And sorry for my sporadic visits as I am working on several writing projects.
