Are you left or right handed?
right
If you had only one TV, would you prefer the TV in the living room or another room?
living room
Have you ever participated in a distance walking, swimming, running, or biking event? Tell your story.
I’ve done walking events on several occasions, but I don’t have stories to go with them.
Complete this sentence: Love is… a weird but useful four-letter word that barely grazes the surface of the complexity of human emotions, but we love the word love and we love to love and be loved and we love love.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
My gratitude is still abundant from last week. I do so enjoy spring.
I managed to photograph one of my elusive Cardinals. He was singin a song. I suspect it was a sorta DMX-type rap about how the humans were below him, makin a ruckus, keepin him from his feeder.
I spotted some new tulip pips where I’d forgotten Moo and I had even planted them. While I am excited about more of my flowers appearing, I’ve really been enjoying my neighbors’ tulip trees and dogwood trees. So pretty!
Last week our whole house was exhausted, but because of that we sure were a snuggling and slap-happy group. Not only did we eat out at some of our favorite places and watch a lot of movies, but I also cooked all this:
Oh! And! We received visits from some of our favorite people, too!
It was a good week to be us.
This week there are no alarm clocks for me. I will start most of my seeds indoors, work s’more on home DIY, and help Moo with her science fair project.
Cee’s Share Your World is a weekly feature and all are invited to play along.
What’s going on in your world?
..Aaaand now I got DMX “Yall gonna make me lose my mind, up in here, up in here!” Stuck in my head. 😛

Well my world is the same as it has ever been. I am right handed. I too would prefer my TV in the living room. I don’t need any white noise to fall asleep. Years ago I used to run 5K,10K and marathons,as well as AAU Cross Country. And yep I do have stories. I would never try to say what love is,or isn’t. At one time I thought I knew what it was but I really didn’t. I am so Damn grateful for everyday I could be a Hallmark Card. Glad you guys had a good week with good food and good guests. Now Good Bye ’til next time.

A tulip tree? That one had me scurrying to Mr Google for an explanation. Now I’m confused about tulip trees vs magnolias. Sigh. I need more research ….

OH! Well they are the same family of trees, but the tulip version is hardier, so that’s what we have up north. You can have a magnolia here, but it’s rare they must be sheltered from winds, and they don’t always bloom. I’ll snap a photo of my nearest tulip tree 🙂

I recently switched to a new laptop, so that’s what’s going on in my world. And I did it before traveling to my mother’s in New England, only to realize there were things I needed from my old laptop that I couldn’t access (thinking I had them in Dropbox when I didn’t). So … that was fun.

Oh how sad. That kinda stuff is the bane of technology, isn’t it? Transferring Scrivener projects almost killed me, Carrie.

I haven’t loaded Scrivener into it yet. I switched my current WIP to Word since I’m on the final drafts. Hoping I don’t have trouble getting back to Scrivener.

Joey going hip hop today? Previous comment already stole my “Y’all going to make me lose my mind up in here”, so I can’t take credit :(.

We planted a tulip tree last year, and it’s just about to bloom.

NICE! I love them! Sassy brought me one years ago, donated from the school, but it didn’t make it.
It didn’t look too great, I don’t know how old it was…how long it was in a bag…Perhaps one day I shall buy a more substantial one at a nursery and it will take 🙂

It’s going to take time to become a tree, but the sooner you start…

Um, no, he withered, like a shrinking skeleton.

I’ve had trees do that too. I babied a peach for about four years before pruning it with a shovel. Its replacement is growing like a weed.

Is that right? Well, I do believe the wind or a stray dog carried mine off years ago.

I like that you had more to say about being grateful than other stuff. Although, I don’t know how much you can say about being right-handed 🙂

I could say I used to bat and putt left, but who cares really? 😛

I enjoyed your slap happy, sleep deprived family eating out more than usual but you still cooking a bunch of delish menus. Is that a rice crispy square? Yum!
I am ambidextrous yet tested left, I am one who likes to look at birds and the cardinal is my fave of all!
Love is caring in unlimited amounts, giving up your favorite seat, last bite of cheesecake or going miles out of your way for a short glimpse of a loved one. I like the song which includes “The Things We Do for Love. ” I would like to find a man who likes Billy Joel’s contradictions in love in, “Always a Woman to Me.” I am not my grandmother’s kind of woman, Joey!

One thing I certainly share with you is my enjoyment of Spring. I actually walked through a carpet of daffodils ( very carefully ) this weekend, and it was a glorious experience.

Love the photo of the cardinal against the blue sky. Spring can be so colorful! Enjoy your tulips. Do you remember what color they’re going to be? Or will that be another happy surprise, too?
