    Good line. Reasonably accurate too. I like The Wizard very much. Still one of my favorite movies. I agree there are several reasons why it is shown at Holiday time. When I was very young those soldiers of the witch and their dirge like song scared the crap out of me.

    Back in the day…lol…you could only see it once a year, in December. It was released as a family treat before the holidays. I was a December birthday, and always thought of it as a gift. But, it did scare the crap out of me as a child. I saw it every year. Go figure. ☺ Moo’s words…adorable.

    FINALLY I make it over to your place, and how adorable is Moo? Oh my gosh! The Weasel of Aw sounds pretty adorable, too. I would like to see that children’s book written. I see it as a board book, with photos of a real weasel superimposed on friendly backgrounds, and he (it’s always a he, isn’t it?) is reacting with wonder to the wonderful … let’s see… Christmas things he’s discovering! Oh, wait: It can be an entire series! Lift the Flap books! How cool would THEY be? He’s always awed by what each flap reveals.

    He lifts a flap and finds a quarter and gives it to his mom to help get a present for another child.
    Of course the last flap has his gifts. “Are these presents for ME?!)

      LMAO! It’s okay, the Black Wolf blogger award is old now and much more interested in lying before a fire.
      You should totally do a book series on The Weasel of Aw — just dedicate them to Moo Mae Mottern 😉

        I am about to sleep and returned here to think about the cute Weasel of Awe before bed, hoping I’d dream of him. Which meant THIS time I finished reading your reply (I must have drifted away on the first read, thinking of a certain weasel.) Of COURSE Moo would get the dedication!

        This time, your Black Wolf comment made me laugh. Of COURSE that bad wolf would be interested in lying before a fire. He’ll stare bold as brass at campers and lie through his pointy teeth:

        “No, I’m not one of those DANGEROUS wolves, like in the Red Riding Hood story. I’m a friendly wolf–closer to a dog, really. You might say I’m the ‘dog of the forest’.”

        Slavering, all the while. He’ll say anything to get those marshmallows.
