Just some doors I like…

on nearby townhomes — i like the way the wreath repeats the color of the brick

in broad ripple — about a month after i took this picture, ladders and buckets appeared on the porch — maybe i’ll get an after photo

at the fairgrounds — no longer a dorm, but a place to exhibit 4-H projects

apartment building in broad ripple — stone and glass gorgeousness

Love the green “Boys Dormitory” doors! And the super cool light fixtures in between them. Here is to more doors in 2016 – so glad to have met a funny, bright, sometimes sarcastic blogger like yourself this year! And a good writer, to boot!

I like the three green doors a lot, but I like the bottom one the best. There’s just something special about an arched door, especially one set in such a beautiful opening. Happy New Year!

I like the last door most of all. All of that ornamentation just to frame and highlight an opening. A huge expenditure of talent, work and money. Don’t you want to see that the door leads to?I do. It must be a simply elegant hall of marble and plaster. Anything else would be disappointing. Well young lady meeting you is definitely one of the highlights of my 2015. I hope your 2015 ends gracefully and happily, and I hope you have a Happy New Year.

I’d bet ugly hospital tile and bad plaster, but I’d love to be surprised. Perhaps one day I’ll find out.
Thank you, Benson! I hope you have a very happy new year as well 😀

Oh I am sure you are right. After all it is an apartment building not a home for a Prussian Duke.. Bummer.

Oh, I love that fancy one! And #2 looks like a Storybook Style house. Do you have any that show the whole house? I love the rounded doorway, and the swoopy bit next to it. 🙂

Oh I don’t, sorry
Just doors here.
If I do get an after shot of the tiny Tudor, I will aim to get his whole facade for you, mk?

I love that last one for the overall look of the ornate entrance way but the second one is my fave. Hope we do get to see some after pics on that one once they’re done. And a very Happy New Year to you and your family 🙂
