Right as Rain

*contented sigh*

It’s been a right good week for me.

daisy.

You know those moments in your life when you’re so acutely aware of your own happiness that it multiplies your gratitude and you just feel all the more happy to recognize your happiness? Those moments are rare, so I’m not takin it for granted. I’m basking in it, appreciating it. Wholly.

Outside it’s raining, storming a bit. The sun’s still up, but I keep yawning. I’m ready for pajamas.22310346_161779461113588_944813985202106771_n

    Ah yes, the wonderful pleasures and challenges of life that keep us from dying of boredom. I smile and nod when others complain about the idiots and difficult folks.     I’m having a great weekend. The only enemies I’m slaying are fictional ones. Watched another triple-crown winner, now seeing if my baseball team can eke out a win.

    Yeah, like, I don’t follow the ponies anymore, but it made me happy to have a Triple Crown Winner. Couldn’t say why, but I didn’t question it; just let the happy in and invited it to pull up a chair and offered it some coffee and cake. We’ll slay our enemies anudder time. Today, we’ll torture them by being happy.

    . I like the juxtaposition here. Always wanted to use that word. Hope I’m using it right. When I find myself complaining about little things in my life, I try to remember how messed up it was about 15 years ago and the gratitude is like a field of daisies. Good reminder!
