Hey, remember when the fire department still used horses? Me neither. This old livery door is a good find, hm?

Beautiful photo. The color on the door coordinates nicely with the brick color. [Yes, these are the things that I notice.]

Is this door still being used, Joey? Or is it considered “history”? Great find!!

Automobiles in there now, but it’s nice they keep the historical sign 🙂

That would look amazing on my mid-century ranch house.

That’s an excellent find. I don’t remember when they used horses, but I do sometimes walk by the mounted police stable in NY – next time, I’m going to see if I can get some pictures.

I don’t remember the horses either but there are liveries up in Virginia City.

I seem to remember my dad reminiscing about the days when the milkman made his deliveries by horse and cart when he was very young, but I not sure about the fire department.
Yes that is an awesome find 🙂
