I’m writing a letter to you today, somethin about gratitude and happiness, like:
Dear Readers, Dear Lurking Strangers, Quiet Acquaintances, Visitors, BUT NOT YOU, SPAM PEOPLE!
Thank you for coming here, for bearing witness to my neuroses, encouraging my rants, commiserating as needed. Thank you for laughing and making me laugh. You’re good to me. Thank you!
Most of all, Bloggers, thank you for sharing with me. I am honored to read about your observations and experiences. I love walking down your streets and I love to travel with you. Thank you for lettin me see your pretty pictures. I especially enjoy your food porn and flowers. I love seeing your doors, your quilts, your wildlife, your farm critters, and your pets. I love reading your stories and making connections to my own. I appreciate your ability to write, and how you think. Your perspectives are varied and truly interesting to a curious mind. You teach me SO MUCH. I learn SO MUCH from you. You’re inspiring. Y’all are the best. You’re good for me. Thank you!
I would share my gummi bears with you.

If you eat two, it’s ALMOST two grams of sugar. I like to eat two at a time, because happy on both sides of my mouth π

Thank YOU, Joey! You got any pineapple ones? ‘Cause I love the pineapple ones. I used to watch a station with my Mom that showed the BEST commercials for Hairbo Gold Bears, and I bought, like two bags. I bought one, and hated them, cause I don’t like gummi bears, but I liked the commercials so much, I BOUGHT ANOTHER BAG. But I liked the pineapple ones.

Haha! The power of advertising, eh? Yeah, no, I have eated all the pineapple ones now. Those are my faves. Moo eats green and orange, Sassy eats red and yellow, and The Mister thinks we are all gross π

You are most welcome! I mean that. Since you mentioned neurosis… if you don’t seem all that neurotic to me, does that mean I must be neurotic, too? I’ve suspected as much ever since I learned the word. Green gummy for me, please. π

That’s very generous and I’m really glad electronic whatsits can’t transmit gummy bears yet, because I really don’t like them but if I eat one I’ll probably eat them all. And not like them. Which seems like a real waste.

You nailed the blogging community – “I love walking down your streets.” π I also love gummy bears, but could I please have the ones that are dipped in chocolate. π

I can’t chew gummy bears, but I appreciate the sentiment. I’ll be glad to accept, and enjoy, virtual gummy bears. In return, I send you virtual M&Ms. Stretch them out, ’cause my stock is a bit low these days.

I miss you being around during the weekday mornings, but I’m glad that you’re still writing the posts, saying the things. I feel the same way about why I read as many blogs as I do. I learn so much, and appreciate the variety of people who share their thoughts.

Oh that’s so sweet! Thank you! I’m glad you agree about the learning and the appreciation of our blog community!
I may still post in the mornings sometimes, but I gotta get up early to do it, so it’s not as likely. Of course, in the fall, the 0500 will come again…

Aww! Such sweet sentiment. And an offer of candy too! You can keep the green ones, though. I donβt know what flavor itβs supposed to be, but I always expect green to be a sharp lime flavor. What you get is probably some mutant form of green apple. Nobody really likes fake green apple flavoringβnot even if it cones from the Jolly Rancher people.
I probably fall into the category of βnattering pestββa classification you omitted above.
