Solve for X

Like I’m knowing stuff about equations. Pshaw!

alphabet-in-math

Some day I may write about the math. I have two interesting stories about math, believe it or not. I had a tutor for the last part of algebra in high school, so I could take geometry.
By the by, I don’t think that makes any sense, cause guess what? I’m good at geometry. It makes total sense to me.
*shrugs*
Anyway…

The answer to yesterday’s post on Two Truths and a Lie is #1.
I did not see a naked toddler. But it’s kind of a trick, because the toddler was actually only wearing a shirt and shoes. Perhaps he ran off during his diaper change?

So, for the eight of you who guessed #1, how did you know?

  1. I guessed because the other two seemed so outlandish that they had to be true!

Yay, I was right. How do I do it? Well, let the man with the snake be X and the women in the truck b Y1 and Y2 …Sorry, I couldn’t resist. So far, of all the people I am following through the A-to-Z, you’re the only one who really (kinda-sorta) used ‘X’ – but you’re all doing such a great job. I am impressed.

  3. I liked the Two Truths and a Lie. I would’ve guess #3, since I think of lies as being the outrageous stories. But, of course, like one of the other writers said, it is crazy enough so it has to be true. What a fun game. On the podcast/show, “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me” they play a version of this game. I’m a terrible guesser when listening to the show, too.

    • I’ve never seen it, but it sounds like fun 🙂
The month of May is pretty wild in Indianapolis, but usually that stays on the west side with the track. What a strange day!

I consulted my crystal. Actually, I just thought the truth is stranger than fiction and a toddler streaking wouldn’t make for such an odd day. 🙂

  5. Like your take on the letter X, Joey. I won’t discuss math, my horror stories from school are linked to this subject.
But I voted #1 yesterday, hoping that a parent would have been around and take care of this little kid naked as a worm (French idiom here!)
    See you tomorrow for Y!

I voted 1 because it was no big deal to be true, Joey, so it had to be false. 🙂 I am an X-pert? The only thing worse than alegbra for me was having to turn word problems into algebra.
